Lightwave 8 Not Importing .obj

I'm trying to work on a project of mine, which involves getting some .obj files into Lightwave 8 so I can load them into LegoRR. However, LW8 just pops up with an error saying "Object Loading Failed." Could I get some help?

P.S: I'm trying to avoid uploading said .obj for the purposes of me not revealing what I'm doing yet, and because I have a lot more I'm trying to do and I want to be able to import and export by myself when I want, and not wait on another person to get work done for me.

Sorry guys, I figured out the issue. I hadn't registered the plug-ins with Lightwave, so it wasn't loading the correct .obj import/export system. Now I can continue work...alll I had to do was goto Utilities and select Add Plug-Ins...or something to that effect.

ADMIN, LOCK THIS TOPIC.

EDIT: NEW PROBLEM.

It doesn't display in LW8. HELP ME.

When it says "Object" it mean in the context of "Lightwave Object", aka lwo. You need to export them from milkshape SOMETHING first.

It looks like you're in the Scene Editor, not the Modeler. Open up Modeler and see if it gives you an import option there. if I remember right, it can export to OBJ, but I don't think it can import. I haven't used LW8 so I don't know for sure.

Ok, I had already exported to .lwo but I had not created the scene property thing correctly yet...eventually I got the textures working and it was in Scene Editor.

Problem 3 through 5.

3) Texture doesn't load during render? BORK.

4) Movie is being recorded at a resolution so low binoculars couldn't see it properly...

5) The element I replace the LEGO Gun with has some weird problem; it's "locked" to an axis. I can't move it on 2/3 axises, which makes it annoying to move it into any constructive place...

EDIT: DON'T WORRY, CUREVAM FIXED IT.
