s0d3rb3rg
I've had this problem for almost a year now, and it's driving me crazy! In the main menu and where you select levels, I get no lag, but when I play a level this happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogy6gMzfPr4 First, when I installed LRR I didn't have this problem, but then one day this started. I remember I managed to fix it by running it in compability mode with Win 98. I've tried that now, but it doesn't fix it. I've also tried to run as adminitrator, but it doesn't work. Please help! McJobless
Go into Lego.cfg, and increase the TextureUsage value. That should allow LegoRR to use more memory, decreasing lag. If that doesn't work, try decreasing it.
s0d3rb3rg
I already increased it, but I didn't try to decrease it... I'll try that. EDIT Nope. Didn't work.
McJobless
If that doesn't work I'll need a couple of things. I need a DxDiag report, I'll need a list of all the proccess you've got running and I'll need to know how you are running the game; window/fullscreen and the resolution. s0d3rb3rg
Actually, I think this could be DirectX 10's fault, cause this happened after I installed dx10. But there's no way of downgrading to Dx9, right? Anyways, here's my DxDiag. OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, build 6002) BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 1.50 Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz (2 CPU's) ~2.2GHz Memory: 2940MB Page file: 2060MB used, 4040MB available DirectX version: DirectX 11 (I want to go back to 9!) List of processes running: AeroSnap.exe conime.exe csrss.exe dwm.exe explorer.exe firefox.exe FSM32.exe hkcmd.exe igfxcfg.exe igfxpers.exe igfxsrvc.exe RtHDVCpl.exe Skype.exe skypePM.exe SmoothView.exe SynTPEnh.exe SynTPHelper.exe taskeng.exe winlogon.exe I'm running windowed mode 640x480 I get this lag in Fulscreen as well. But there's no way of downgrading to Dx9, right? You could aquire the DirectX 10 installer and run a repair install, or you could try this: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/DirectX-Eradicator.shtml Anyways, here's my DxDiag. OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, build 6002) BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 1.50 Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz (2 CPU's) ~2.2GHz Memory: 2940MB Page file: 2060MB used, 4040MB available DirectX version: DirectX 11 (I want to go back to 9!) That looks normal. If it's anything in here causing a problem, it would be Vista and DirectX. Use compatibility mode and try the program I sent above to reinstall DirectX (back to 9). List of processes running: AeroSnap.exe conime.exe csrss.exe dwm.exe explorer.exe firefox.exe FSM32.exe hkcmd.exe igfxcfg.exe igfxpers.exe igfxsrvc.exe RtHDVCpl.exe Skype.exe skypePM.exe SmoothView.exe SynTPEnh.exe SynTPHelper.exe taskeng.exe winlogon.exe I'm running windowed mode 640x480 I get this lag in Fulscreen as well. Yeah, Windowed would make it run slightly faster, so no problems there. I can't see any processes that would make too much of a difference. Alright, try the program I suggested, reinstall DirectX 9 and then see if it was the problem. I'll be on standby if it isn't.
TheDoctor
A list of processes doesn't help much if we don't know what's using how much of what.
Addictgamer
Has happened to me before. The graphics card is at fault. Try newer and older drivers. If all else fails, get a different card.
