Nishliau
We asked why they love My Little Pony. Almost every one of them said, "I love the stories". This is a lie, men aren't there for stories and everyone knows it. You cannot deny. Thank you for having me cough up my drink on my keyboard. It barely dodged. It's a nice keyboard. Storm
Yes I can deny, cyrem. Yes I can. I now have a massive rant about cyrems comment, but i'm not even going to post it here and can't anyway, cause it would take up about 3 posts.

I now have a massive rant about cyrems comment, but i'm not even going to post it here and can't anyway, cause it would take up about 3 posts. Oh come on, I post one tiny thing. Don't be like that. If I must provide an example, one would be of those certain new plushies that are appearing. What if Hasbro changed MLP back to their old ugly ponies? How many fans would they have then? Stories are abundant in all media, men don't turn to a female orientated product just to get a story. If you are there just for stories why not start on Barbie, they have heaps of movies with stories too. Or take young (like teen, not 30+... although there are those.... bah nvm.) boy bands/male solo singers as an example, female fan base is maxed.... I wonder why? And you can't say that it's because Bieber produces good music. For the other people who truly aren't their for that reason, they are probably fans just to feel like they are in some sort of club. Such a feeling is infectious. Apologies Nish, I hope you were coughing up in laughter rather then anger. Nishliau, McJobless and Lair
Storm
Cyrem, they're there for the stories because the stories are good, like normal cartoons like spongebob, looney tunes and that kind of thing. They're not like "HEY GUYS LETS GO ON AN ADVENTURE AND EVERY TIME WE DO WE GET RAPED BY A PANDA" and then thats the only story.
Lair
the stories are good, like normal cartoons like spongebob, looney tunes Which has stories consisting of ducks having seizures while making fat hunters explode over and over, and cross-dressing. And the roadrunner/coyote insanity. Keep trying. McJobless

This is a lie, men aren't there for stories and everyone knows it. You cannot deny. That's only a fraction of it. There are lots more reasons. And you can't say that it's because Bieber produces good music. For the other people who truly aren't their for that reason, they are probably fans just to feel like they are in some sort of club. Such a feeling is infectious. 'Cause they are blinded into thinking he is the best singer ever? Wait a minute.. I can see where this is going. I'm not there 'cause the ponies are girls (if that's what you're implying), and neither did I get interested because the fandom.
Shadow322
One reason the show it so good is because it has such expert animation, if they when back to the old hard to look at super girly ponies, then yes, some people would leave, but people would still stay because the stories are far better then anything the older MLP shows had ever produced. The things is that these stories are well written, they're not like the stories the older shows had, which where just "Rainbows are so pretty, lets have a makeover, lets sing, picking flowers in fun!" That kinda stuff. This stories in the new show aren't like that, the stories in the new show aren't the same generic crap, their actual well written stories, and I know it's hard to believe but that's what a lot of us like about the show. Fluffy Cupcake
Just by the type of joke that was, I can tell the comic was by Veggie55. I don't like veggie55 jokes. I found this in my watches (in a group) while browsing DA. I also noticed it said it was request by RocketTheRacer, who which you know is a member on this forum. Lair
I didn't mean looney tunes, I meant cartoons similar to looney tunes Which would be the same thing: shallow plots masked by utter insanity, eg. AoSTH. Are you talking about Ninjago vs the old Ninja theme? Posted because I have reached my quota of likes. EDIT Are you talking about Ninjago vs the old Ninja theme? That joke doesn't work, because he also said this which you quoted: the old hard to look at super girly ponies Pwned. "Pwned"? I think you missed his point. Nishliau
Apologies Nish, I hope you were coughing up in laughter rather then anger. It was laughter, however I fully understand your point. I actually got into this show, because an old friend of mine liked it. We were playing Garry's Mod, playing around in a theater we made. He then proceeded to show me MLP, even though I hated the thought of it. I never wanted to watch it, I thought it was going to be completely.... Well, for lack of a better term. Stupid. (Even though I'm completely supportive of almost anything that's within some sort of reason, I just didn't think it'd be my thing) After the first episode, both parts. I was "eh," however we started watching more and more of it. Up to about the 5th or so episode. I started liking it, and started watching it from there. The first episode I caught on TV was Sonic Rainboom. I remember that. Well, after all that crap I guess you could say it's like a club. Something for some of my old friends to talk about. Sonic322
A program on CNN made a report on bronies. Yay it wasn't negative. And they did it while promoting Brony con of all things. Just awesome. This is a lie, men aren't there for stories and everyone knows it. You cannot deny. I actaully like the stories a lot. But you are right. There are other factors too. 1. If I must provide an example, one would be of those certain new plushies that are appearing. 2. What if Hasbro changed MLP back to their old ugly ponies? How many fans would they have then? 3. Stories are abundant in all media, men don't turn to a female orientated product just to get a story. If you are there just for stories why not start on Barbie, they have heaps of movies with stories too. 4. Or take young (like teen, not 30+... although there are those.... bah nvm.) boy bands/male solo singers as an example, female fan base is maxed.... I wonder why? And you can't say that it's because Bieber produces good music. 5. For the other people who truly aren't their for that reason, they are probably fans just to feel like they are in some sort of club. Such a feeling is infectious. 1. What plushies? 2. Then a lot of bronies who were fans of the animation style would leave. 3. You can't use Barbie as an example. Every guy knows that Barbie sucks ass-balls. It's coded into our DNA or something. 4. While I agree with you that Justin Bieber is terrible in everything he does, I must say that there are fans of bands and solo artists who like them just for the music. I myself am a fan of Owl City which is composed of one guy. One reason the show it so good is because it has such expert animation, if they when back to the old hard to look at super girly ponies, then yes, some people would leave, but people would still stay because the stories are far better then anything the older MLP shows had ever produced. Also this: Comic Can you beat around the bush anymore? I mean really, you must have said the plot to the old show was generic and girly at least 3 times already. Just by the type of joke that was, I can tell the comic was by Veggie55. I don't like veggie55 jokes. How do you not like his jokes? He's so funny. Are you talking about Ninjago vs the old Ninja theme? By god that was a fail of the most epic proportions. Lair, Extreme, what happened here, you use to be better at trolling, now you just seem to be half assing it, I mean you guys use to be able to get under my skin but now it's like your not even trying anymore. Well it's good to see that won't be bothering us as much when season 3 starts. I caught on TV was Sonic Rainboom. I remember that. I can't really remember the first episode I saw on TV. I think it was Griffon the Brush-Off and the second episode I saw was Boast Busters. These were actually the first episodes I saw period. I had wanted to see the show but I knew the season had ended, I didn't know what time it was on, and I never thought of watching it on YouTube. But I found MLP one morning when I didn't have to go to school till 11:00 AM and knew emmediatly that it would be awesome.

Fluffy Cupcake
@Both, Well I know a Twilight one was made, dunno if any more are. Anyway, I was only being 1/2 serious. @Sonic, I think I know of one other that is the same actually, though I only really watch the livestreams of one (where I heard his opinion on Veggie). Anyway, Toxic-Mario is the artist.
