Minifig9292
I did some research into this thing. As long as you do not make an excess of around 2,500 US dollars it will be perfectly legal to stream. I'll find a quote hang on... *skitters off for a second* Alright I can't find it. But the bill is in it's infancy and it isn't too late for us to act. Honestly, I think that something like this should be up to the company who owns the materials to decide if it should be streamed and what not. Hollywood has billions, why the f*** do they care if I go pirate a movie? Oh no, there pile of money is 10 bucks lower. Oh the humanity. God I hate people. Sonic322
We should hire the medic to... "take care" of the people in Hollywood.
Cirevam
As long as you do not make an excess of around 2,500 US dollars it will be perfectly legal to stream. Unfortunately, the terms were: 1) 10 strikes and you get convicted, OR 2) You make $2500 or more directly OR 3) Something about the worth of the licenses involved being $5000 or more. I looked at the bill too and it has so many OR statements that all inputs spit out a "FROST YOU" output.
Addictgamer
Honestly, I think that something like this should be up to the company who owns the materials to decide if it should be streamed and what not. It is up to them. If they add it into their ToS/copyrights/whatever that no streaming of their content is allowed, you can't stream it.

The government should have no say in what they do and what they don't they allow. This bill will make all streaming of any and all copyrighted material illeagal. Say if I made a video of some Minecraft game-play, Minecraft is a copyrighted game, therefore streaming footage would be illegal. The bill means well, but becuase of how loose the terminology is, anyone in any kind of political power could pull the plug on nearly anything, NOT the actual people who own whatever it may be. Sonic322
Stupid government trying to take over our internet. Just you wait, if they pass this bill then there is going to be a new revolution.

Addictgamer
...I thought this whole thing died some time ago. It's still going on? à ² _à ² This. Heh. Corrupt officials. I wish to personally throw them out of the government, but watching others do that is good enough.
