aLPHA
I'd test this for myself but I don't have a computer that can run LRR. This has been bugging me for a while now. What if you put a negative number into the crystal drain amount? This would be cool for a freezer beam that pulls energy from stuff and turns it into crystals. I'm sure that somebody already tried this, and I'm sorry if this topic is a bit... unimportant.

If HealthDecay can accept negative values, I'm sure CrystalDrain (or whatever it's called) would too. That's assuming the engine doesn't crap out and bluescreen HERP DERP. aLPHA
What if CostCrystal is a negative value when you construct a building? Will the raiders pull crystals from it? SOOOO MUCH STUFF I WANT TO TEST :rf:

SOOOO MUCH STUFF I WANT TO TEST No, I think this would either crash the gam If this works, we could create ore/crystal generator buildings...imagine the power... Except, how would it work? The crystal would probably be made under the buildings construction, IF IT WORKS...but they wouldn't be able to access the crystals...I'm sure setting this value to a negative will crash the game. Pretty sure.
aLPHA
You can never be sure. Test it, if you can.
Cirevam
Cror-generating buildings could use the NPL to tell the game to add to the crystal or ore count after a certain amount of time. I don't think the game would like something to cost negative materials, but having a laser with a negative drain seems possible. I might try it out later. Oboe Shoes
Just tried having the Support Station cost negative crystals and ore. The game crashes as soon as you place it. Edit: Also, setting the dischargerate to a negative value doesn't drain crystals, but doesn't add them either. Effectively the same as setting it to 0. However, the dischargerate hasn't always been...consistant when I've messed with it, so it might be worth it for someone else to try.
