aLPHA
I can't test it, but from watching videos of my first vehicle, it appears that it has a bizarre random tumbling physics to it. I know from memory that I DID make the animation for it moving/resting to just sitting still (it's just one frame) so how does it randomly tumble and move like it does? I'd fetch the video of it but they block youtube here. Wait, I think I can get to it. There we go. Notice its random tumbling? Is that the game doing that? Lair
It's what happens when you make a new LWS instead of editing an old one or something
Cirevam
What Lair said. So far I've had to use existing animations to import wheel nulls because the game doesn't seem to like ones that are created from scratch, but Karl did mention that certain other nulls are required for animations to work properly at all, like main_null and anim_null. TheDoctor
Yeah, it looked like the wheel nulls were acting up. The bit at the end could be that the camera wasn't in the right place, ie above the ground.
aLPHA
lol, I actually locked big pink sphere onto the wheel nulls to see what it did to cause it to go crazy and crash the game when I went in first person, and all I'll say is that, nulls flew. Cap't Rex
aLPHA how did you add a viecle to this game? That jet thing looked cool :)
McJobless
aLPHA how did you add a viecle to this game? That jet thing looked cool Firstly, you need to be able to model. Secondly, you need some version of Lightwave (I like 5.6 because that's what the developers used, but Doc will complain about 8, 9 or 10). Thirdly, you must understand how nulls work, how the .cfg is set out and how to create an .ae file. That should help you on installing a vehicle, but actually creating one is the trick.
