Best Wiki Without Self-Hosting

I need to create a wiki for something because the only big one that exists for it already is awful and full of noobs...and on wikia. The only one I've found that "works" is wikia, but I can list at least ten things I hate about it (example: NOT ONE ADMIN CONTROL WORKS ON THE MONOBOOK SKIN). Anyone know another good wiki site? Preferibly with monobook and the same kind of coding wikis like ours or wikipedia have. Ads minimal, but I'm willing to have a few as long as they aren't big and ugly (or 10 of them, cough wikia). Shoutwiki is the closest but it has slow servers and is offline a lot. I can't use wikia because I can't do anything without using the oasis skin which I dislike. I'm also not hosting it because it's not a big deal and I have no means to so. Oh, did I mention I hate wikia?

Wikia is bollocks

Oh, by the way, the only reason Wikia actually keeps monobook is because of Uncyclopedia. if that didn't exist we'd only have frostasis

I hope you don't need it wiki wiki because I have nothing.

How is this constructive to anything just said?

Also, I'm using Wikia and loving it still, even after considering all the alternates, most of which seem pretty crap. I dunno why your stuck with Oasis, but I'm using a skin called "Police".

They also have given access to enable Achievements, Chatrooms and several other features which are still in BETA, but they are non-compulsory if you don't want them.

I just checked...you're using the oasis skin. EVERY wikia site is FORCED to use that skin in some form. I wanted something with monobook as an option. And not a bunch of pre-registered noobs.

Wikidot is good. I used to play with that many years ago... although, it's changed a bit recently.

I have one wiki there (it's for personal use you'll see later), it doesn't have the mediawiki code though.

HAHAHAHA You're not funny

I looked at camelwiki. It seems to be the best option (knowing the guys at MIT and the fact that it's open source) but requires you to host a server since it is in software form and not a website service.
