BluCalhoun Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 Well after browsing YouTube trying to see the two games I played largely as a youngster, I found this forum. I cannot express how happy I am to have found a LEGO forum that has to deal with the old fashioned, DECENT, LEGO games. My very first game on the computer was LEGO Island. I was around 5 or 6 at the time so I have no recollection on how I got it, but I know it was when we moved to California. When LEGO Island 2 came out, I got it. I don't remember how or when, but I came across it. *FLASHBACK* Just remembered, they sold it at the school book fair back when I was in 1st or 2nd grade. Same with LEGO Racers 2, which I deeply adored. I played those games until you couldn't play them anymore. I wish I had played the first LEGO Racers, but I have only seen it once on my friends PlayStation. I wish I could know why LEGO stopped making these amazing video games. These games are what I tell people when they ask "What did you have as a kid?" Well I grew up with LEGO. Anyways enough nostalgia. I'm a 14 year old freshman in high school and I miss LEGO. I enjoy playing first person shooters on Xbox and PC, and I love every game Valve has ever made. I play MapleStory, a korean MMO designed by Wizet and Nexon. I had a private server back in 7th grade but that eventually died out. I look forward to meeting new people who share the same interest in LEGO that I do. I owned LEGO Rock Raiders, LEGO Island, LEGO Island 2, LEGO Racers 2, and LEGO Alpha Team. At least I think it was called Alpha Team. The one where your in a space ship and you get lost or something? As I was sitting here bored I decided I would look through the bin with all my CD's in it, and I found LEGO Rock Raiders (Installing now), LEGO Stunt Rally, Tonka Garage, and LEGO Brickmaster Digital Designer 1.3. I remember I got so pissed at LEGO Stunt Rally when I made a map with every single structure possible in it with Ramps and all sorts of crazy stuff and then we got a new computer. That was fun... And a Pepper Brickolini minifigure and an Obi Wan Kenobi figure with cape and hat and lightsaber... I am surprised this stuff didn't get lost.
