I Had A Good B-Day.

This is aside from nearly severely injuring myself in a go kart accident; at least we know the roll bar works.

Where have I been? The whole summer I was working at the Kelley's Island Market, and the Kelley's Island Casino which is really a bar (the golf cart rentals).

[in an awesome voice:] A lot has changed since I was last here.

Also, junior year puts a lot of work in your hands I have noticed. So this is one of the only times so far that I have time to talk.

Oh yea, this new "Cap and Trade" thing is starting to kick in. I have noticed because the Lima Refinery has now decided to put the fate of the environment ahead of the workers' safety:

"To help reduce our carbon output, we have decided to shut down our exhaust flares, and move toward ways of reusing the waste products."

So by:

-shutting down the emergency flares that burn the toxic products into harmless dirt

-placing the toxic products back into the refinery risking explosions and cancer

you think it's worth the science and money to find "green" ways to dispose of the products?

I appear to have lost my mojo.

/:| Your karts have roll bars? When I'm kart racing we never use roll bars.... apart from going 70km into tires on a corner, I don't see how you can flip a road one. Unless your track edges are gutters or no-one has an Kart racing skills... then I guess it's probably needed.

I had a dirt kart which did have a roll bar, but that was because a) it was dirt b) I spent most of the time driving it on the side of a hill.

That will be the next thing to appear explode in[to] the news.

Then again, in the City of Radio, fuel is reprocessed rather disposed of. On the other hand, it is a bad idea to burn radiological material, even if you are equipped to clean it up.

Sorry for not noticing until now. I never seem to be informed of these things.

Happy belated birthday.

Green sucks. Let's all buy hummers and stick it to those damn conservatives.

Aren't you thinking of something else *coughconservationistscough*?
