Hello fellow raiders, I recently discovered that a website has uploaded the LEGO rock raiders PSX game in the PSP format(e boot.pbp). But when Put it on my PSP (games folder), I get this error message:"The copyright information is invalid." I tried googling for the solution but couldn't find a solution. Can you help me. If you want ill even upload the files here for you to try also. Help would be appreciated.

Well there's not much I can do then because I don't have a PSP, I'll see if maybe my friend will let me use his but I can't do anything until I know which site you downloaded it from. Let me know if you remember.

Why would someone put the PS1 game on the PSP anyway?

Probably since you can't get Playstation 1 stuff easily anymore, that way more people can play it.

Oh and Sonic322, it said PSX over on google.

Well the proper term is PS1. People all over the internet say PSX because they don't understand that PSX was a real product that was completely different.

and i think it could of come from [link removed].I tried downloading a few times.

If that's where you got it, I've found your problem. The format of that download is for Playstation 1, not PlaystationPortable 2000.

Edit: I didn't see the other two sites, let me check those.

Edit 2: I just checked them, the first I think was corrupt and the second is for Playstation 1 as well if I'm not mistaken.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can't convert a game to a different console, so they could be failed attempts as well.

You checked all of them?

can someone who has a psp help me find a good version?

Yeah, I could tell what the format was of the first two because all consoles have a different format and I know what they all are, and the other didn't want to open because my computer said it was corrupt.

Can you recomand where to download this version of the game.

what about here [link removed] or here [link removed]. Your computher may have said the file is corrupt since its a PBP file which wont open on pc.

And can you tell me what The copyright information is invalid means.

as thats the main issue.

Well I did not know that was a PBP file, so that explains that. And the copyright information may be invalid because in order to transfer it to PSP, they could of either written it wrong or given it the wrong format. It is practically impossible to mod a console game, I've only successfully done it one time on a game called Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, and in order to do so, I had to rewrite the game. And the other two sites I was talking about were the ones you mentioned.

I might be able to. After I'm done with Boulder Raiders I'll work on it. Just so you know though, I can't guarantee anything because I don't have any experience modding PSP games.

No. This ends here. I already told both of you once. Sharing links to illegal material is against the rules here. If you're too dense to find the rules to review them yourself then click this link: http://www.rockraidersunited.org/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules

William, you're only getting a written warning this time. Do not encourage people to share links to pirated software. This topic is now locked. Thank you for wasting my time to remind you of what is not allowed here.
