Right, I was helping you before, and this isn't exactly what I meant by "making a new topic" When did the game crash? The first time, on a clean install, the second time, after setting up the Data folder method, or the third time, after install the mod?

EDIT: This might be due to a corrupt modification. Download a different skin and see if that works.

After setting up the Data folder method.

Right, you're not setting it up correctly.

After your clean install, you need to follow this order carefully and correctly:

  1. Back-up the WAD files to another directory.
  2. Extract everything inside LegoRR0.wad with Striders WAD Tool.
  3. You should see a new folder called "LegoRR0". Copy all the contents into the Data folder.
  4. Delete the new folder and the LegoRR0.wad file.
  5. Do the same for LegoRR1.wad; at one point it will ask to over-write some files, say "yes".

It worked but then I replaced everything inside the driver folder with everything inside the pilot folder and deleted the pilot.ae and renamed driver.ae to pilot.ae. I tested it and it crashed. :/

Woah, woah. I think you might be doing it the wrong way.

  1. Delete the original "Pilot" folder.
  2. Rename the "Driver" folder to "Pilot".
  3. In your new "Pilot" folder, rename "Driver.ae" to "Pilot.ae"

The high-poly Rock Raider mod, which most reskins use, crashes if you merge the old Pilot folder with a newer one. You MUST remove the original Pilot folder or rename it, otherwise it won't work.

Ok

Just a quick question; why post this? Never, EVER make a one word post. It is always assumed that you read the post, and had no responce; moreso, it was assumed you read the post due to your previous post before that.

Be careful.

Well, it's not a mortal sin, or anything. Just a bit of an annoyance. In the future just add a little more content to your posts, or edit your existing post instead of double posting.

No harm done.
