apemax
Hello all. This is the fourth Lego moc i've posted here now. This is my first proper attempt at a Trial Truck although it's still not as good as some of the other ones other people have made but i did tried my best with the parts i have. It has front pendular suspension and rear suspension, working steering and it's rear wheel drive. For more pictures of the technical side of it check out the brickshelf page here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=469620 Edit: Picture can be found on the MOCpages page: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/306257 And a picture of it with my 8048 Buggy because well i felt like it. Hope you like it.
McJobless
Jesus...this is a fantastic vehicle. I love how the interior actually has the pedals for the driver ;P
PWNZOR
This is pretty cool; I never seem to be able to finish my LEGO vehicles. My only suggestion from a technical standpoint is to make the build on a basis of technic beams (the ones without studs) connected rather than brick-built, for more stability. Also, hooray, an actual rack-and-pinion rather than the stupid version one has to build with the Mindstorms NXT set because the NXT set doesn't have gear racks :-/ Well the normal one, that is. Anyways, great work, keep on brickin'.
apemax
Thanks. Yeah i didn't have any Technic beams when i made this but i have a few now though. Not enough for a whole vehicle but i'm slowly building up my Technic parts. You can get a fairly strong chassis with the studded beams although i agree you can make studless a lot stronger. I've recently finished my latest moc which is a motorised dragster of sorts. Just need to find the time to take some pictures of it...
