MechWarrior001
Can anyone identify the brick part numbers used in the Teleport pad model? I want to try modeling a higher poly version in LDD and export it into the game.
Cyrem
No need: http://www.rockraidersunited.org/files/file/200-high-poly-teleport-pad/ Unless you just want to do it... just to do it.
MechWarrior001
Some of the smoothing groups on that model seem to be a bit off. But that's just me.

Dude, if you're using LDD, just switch to Extended Mode and have the Instruction Booklet open (you can obtain this from the LEGO website, search Google for "LEGO building instructions"). Everything should be easy to find. Also, for those pipe things, you can use the Flex Tool to manipulate them into position. Handy little trick I learned to get some chains in the correct position. I wasn't sure as the only building they released as an actual set was the 4990 HQ set, which includes the Upgrade Station, Teleport Pad and Mining Laser in addition to the Transport Truck but not as separate constructable objects with the truck being a exception, I think. The biggest thing I hate about LDD right now is that it doesn't include any Rock Raider proprietary parts like the drills or cockpits; or if it does I just haven't found them yet. Well, there was a forum I found somewhere which had quite a few models from LegoRR made...anyways, the HQ set does have the Teleport Pad, and each building is made separate prior to placing it on the base-plate. Go for it.
PWNZOR
How do the smoothing groups appear off in my model? Instructions: Page 1 Page 2 (courtesy of BrickFactory) Part lists are on BrickLink, but since there was no 'Teleport Pad' set released, that won't be on BrickLink or any other site. Cirevam
Going off of memory, the edges of your bricks look round rather than sharp because the vertexes on your non-round bricks are still welded.

Oh right, I never uploaded my newest version, did I...
