McJobless
I was thinking about this last night. I haven't looked into the save system, but could the numbers in the LoaderProfile.txt lists be hex codes or something to do with creating a profile which has unlocked everything up to a specific level? Obviously, there are better methods, but still. I think the devs, if what I think is true, would have used it to test the links between levels. Cirevam
LoaderProfile scales the loading bar for each loading screen. The number is the number of bytes (probably, the numbers don't match up for me but they seem to do for others) that gets loaded. If the number is too small, the loading bar will fill up too quickly and sit at the end until everything is loaded. If it's too large, the loading bar will never fill completely. This has no effect on loading times or anything else. It's purely visual. Weird example: My LoaderProfile file for Time Raiders currently has this entry: Game Data=65916864 . This is supposed to be the size of the entire Data folder, since everything in that gets loaded into the game, or so it seems. Meanwhile my Data folder is 222859580 bytes in size. The first number lets my loading bar work almost normally. The second makes it load somewhere around the 1/3 mark. When SWGNBen plays on his computer, the loading bar fills up and sits at the end for a while. I'm guessing it would work right if he changed the number to 222859580. McJobless
Well, I'm glad we finally got that cleared up. I guess this gives us a new level of WHYTHEf***WOULDWEUSETHIS-moddability.
