What credits? The credits to LRR? The heck did you get onto a computer used by someone who worked on LRR?

Sonic, the picture is from wikipedia. "Credits" are the words that show up after you watch a movie or beat a game.

Pay no attention to the "What d" part. I must have been typing something but forgot to delete it when I decided to quote that post.

I know what credits are. That is why I asked what credits he is talking about. I didn't know it was from Wikipedia. I really don't see how this is of any help.

As Doc already said, this topic serves as nothing more than a way for karsten to flaunt that he knows something we didn't. While it's true that he discovered that StarTeam is an FTP program, we already knew about its mention in several LWS files a long time ago along with the names of several other users or directories used by the devs. The difference here is that karsten was the first person to care about what StarTeam was and do some research while the rest of us said "neat" and moved on with our lives. My only reaction to StarTeam was "that sounds like a nickname for a part of the development group that they made up, haha I'll change the name of my LRR shortcut to LEGO StarTeam". That shortcut is still named that today.

Cirevam i know thought that as-well thats why i googled it but its an FTP program but it just funny to know and if they forwarded there port that's 21 (for ftp) we could connect to there FTP server.

But this is just a funny fact.

And even if its so small like this it always good to post these things because it clears more out how they worked back then and i think that's interesting.

Woow there FTP is forwarded! type this in your browser <link removed>

Now crack it with a Proxy and maybe the LRR filles are still there!

Ask rrcoder for username and password.

I highly doubt he still has it, but it's worth a try, isn't it?

What would we do then? Take everything they still have from LRR and claim it is not illegal because rrcoder let us use his username and password?

-_-

If they used a FTP server, it would have been local, on one of their machines. They wouldn't have used some website. That computer is probably gone too.

Doctor's right. They would have had everything on their local network (but it could still be accessed if one of their machines had internet access) and all LRR data is probably sitting on a tape in a closet, which we can't access without using the sneakernet. Regardless, if anyone who reads this topic decides to do something... questionably immoral, illegal, etc. relating to DDI's data, keep it off RRU.
