Well i've been trying to install LRR, and unlike most people suffered no "missing file" thing (can't remember it's specific name, it's very common). Obviously i've placed this file in "system" and "system*number*" (can't remember the number Sorry!) I read it's best to place it in both so i did. I then carried on reading to find i should place it in my lego folder? I believe i did that. But that's all just mad stabs in the dark, although i have been able to get from 22% -> 37% installed. But each time it hits this point and says the following: An error occurred during the move data process: -106 Component: Program files File group: Program data files File: LegoRR0.wad Any advice on this would be appreciated, and sorry I'm rather useless at computers, so speak very easy for me . While writing this i've managed to increase to 38%, it seems to occasionally increase by a few percent(s). And i'm on Windows Vista if that's any help! Cyrem Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Sounds like the sort of error you get when the disc is scratched and it can't read the file. To be sure, make sure you are running it administrator mode (found when you right click on the setup.exe file on the disc). If it's still not working you can try this: to get the files off the disc. Grintendo Posted January 21, 2012 Author Share Posted January 21, 2012 Ok thanks, well i've just gave my disc a quick clean to remove any possible gathered dust over the last most likely 5-7 years i haven't played it! Really should have done that before, silly me. I'm speachless, spent a few hours trying to fix it with all these file changes ext, and all it needed was a quick disc wipe! I personally recommend making a backup of the disc (preferably an ISO, but you could also make a physical copy or just Alcohol 120% it) now that you've installed the game.
