Lab44oss
Recently, Minecraft and Lego made some agreement letting Lego produce minecraft sets. I would be very interested to see what some other people think.
RR Rocks
Actually, LEGO and Mojang never sat down to discuss this. Someone on LEGO CUSOO suggested it and Mojang just authorized it's production. The LEGO designers are now looking at it.
McJobless
I already posted a blog...about this...there's a lot of discussion there...awkward...
Baz
I don't see the point of this. They might as well release tons of 2x2 bricks in different colors, it'd accomplish the same thing.
STUDZ
I'll be amazed if LEGO will be able to pull off more than just customized almost LEGO-y minifigs. In all reality, it's like LEGO-fying Roblox. IT JUST WON'T WORK. Unless LEGO completely redoes their System of Play (rendering everything else obsolete), the Minecraft sets just simply won't look like Minecraft. Well, that's my theory. Another one would be that LEGO creates a brickload of new elements, perfect for MOCing... But the overall theme still won't look like Minecraft. I'm suprised that LEGO even went ahead with this. I mean, sure it's a pleasant suprise, but I could think of a bunch of other things that would fit the System better than Minecraft (Portal 2, anyone?). Can anyone even imagine LEGO Minecraft, because I certainly can't. Oh, well. Either we see some Minecraft sets soon, or LEGO realizes that this was a mistake. Either way, I'll be happy. Tracker
I saw a prototype, it does look about as good as it will get, which happens to be more than good enough.

Roblox was once un-LEGO-fyeid?
mumboking
Roblox was once un-LEGO-fyeid? Well, they did originally have round studs with an R on them. Some time in 2009, they changed to square studs without anything on them. Not long after, they added the R to the square studs. I much preferred it when they had round studs. Lab44oss
Well, it looks like LEGO finally agreed. The sets will be be coming out in the summer. This is mojang's (the creator's of minecraft) announcement on their website: http://www.mojang.co...en-waiting-for/ It's all mini so it can't be that bad
Shadow322
Looks pretty tiny, hopefully it won't cost that much.
MCHover
What a great video! The sets look really nice too, I think.

Brikman McBlubber
I'm not really impressed, but then again. I don't play Minecraft (Though I plan to eventually). I hope we get something more interesting out of Cuusoo eventually. Still hoping that the LEGO fandom bands together to get http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/1787 <that passed through. Phoenyx
I meant in stores, if I went to the toystore, would I have to spend more the $50 for a few sets. Looking at it, it's about the same size as the White House architectural model, maybe smaller and more dense, so $50 is probably close.
Sonic322
Is it just me or does Jeb have more swag in that video than Notch does?
STUDZ
I saw the set... NOT IMPRESSED. Although I'm glad that LEGO didn't try and make any new weird pieces or something for MC.

TravisTouchdown
Looks pretty tiny, hopefully it won't cost that much. It'll cost about $34.99...a bit expensive if you ask me.
Cyrem
I've already ordered it. I doubt it's going to come to the shops (at least here), so $35 for limited run sets.. isn't that bad.
