Cyrem
There is Stunt Rally demos in Japanese floating around the net, but has anyone seen any English demo's? I would like to compare them file wise for the differences. Even on startup, there are a few differences with the Japanese version. - Issues detecting D3DRM.DLL on startup unlike full version. I needed to put the DLL in the directory for it to work. - No LEGO avi, replaced with a LEGO/Eidos splash. - No Mr.X You can get the Japanese demo here: http://www.fileplane...-%28Japanese%
lol username
Yeah, there's an English demo, I've got it on a demo CD I got with LEGO Island 2, and I think le717 has the same disc. I'll upload it tomorrow unless le wants to do it.

le717
Yea. I have the same disc as jamesster and there is a SR demo on it. I would do it, but I'm not at home today and I don't have access to the disc and I don't have it anywhere online (Ive needed to do that for a while). So go ahead and do it jamesster. I'll check my sites later but I'm pretty sure I don't have it anywhere. EDIT: I just remembered that Cyrem made a SR file extractor but no rebuilder. That is what your going to use right Cyrem? Also I'll download the demos and compare then later too. This should be interesting. And when did this demo pop up?
le717
Nobody's gotten you the demo yet, Cyrem? Well fear not, for I have brought it to you! I should note: This does require the d3drm.dll file as well and I added it into the archive, You'll get a message saying that it's higher then the required version, yada, yada, yada. Just click Ok. I don't know what you mean by an avi, but there is no avi in the demo. There's only a LEGO Media splash screen. I still need to run the Japanese demo, but SF was made by Intelligent Games. Eidos was the company who developed (more like co-developed with TT Games) LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. I can't see Eidos being on the splash screen, but again, it may be. I still need to run the other demo. Oh, and does anyone know how to get one of these LEGO demos to run in English if there is no language selection menu, and it wasn't installed? I initially just extracted the cab for this, but it ran in Spanish, I believe. I loaded up the VM to find the file that might define the language, but there wasn't one. I'm thinking about uploading the other demos too, but I need to get them to run in English without installing them or running the exe (If you've ever loaded the Creator Knight's Kingdom demo, you'll know what I mean). Cyrem
Nobody's gotten you the demo yet, Cyrem? Well fear not, for I have brought it to you! Thanks man, I'll look at it. In the final game is has the LEGO media video like Rock Raiders. The demo does not. From what i've noticed, most language selection menus on the installers are just for the installer... they don't effect the game. Could it be that the demo is spanish by default? There are sometimes ini files that define a language, but as this is a demo... i'm not so sure.

It's been added back. I actually removed the InstallShield installer and replaced it with an InnoSetup installer I made myself. Tested on Win Vista and 7, built on Windows x86, so it will work on Winx64. ;)

le717
Downloading has been disabled by the owner. :t Fixed. I didn't know unchecking the "Enable Download" box disabled hotlinks too. Man, I seem to be breaking everything up today... EDIT: I just caught that I was linking the Japanese Demo, when I had the English one linked to begin with. Fail blog. I added the English one, since I have both. O.T. And I have more downloads too. I should just go ahead and release them, despite whatever bugs I have in them. I can fix those later...
