The Brigadier

Hmm... Between 'Buzz's Dungeon' from Spyro 3, Lego Rock Raiders PS1 Menu Theme, and Lego Rock Raiders PC Track 1. Hard to choose...

That's a toughy, so I've divided the question into categories..

Halo (first one) has a fantastic theme song, used in the Maw Run, which is probably the best gaming song of all time for me. Ratchet & Clank 2 and 3 probably have the best musical scores (it's so heroic and memorable...especially for a 3D game that looks like it was drawn by a 3 year old (and I'm not complaining about the visual design, because it's fantastic)). Need For Speed: Most Wanted probably has the best Soundtrack (Avenged Sevenfold, Prodigy, Celldweller, Bullet For My Valentine and more (we're forgetting the interactive music, which was the best police-chase score I've ever heard)).

Turrican 1 and 2's entire soundtrack. Chris Huelsbeck for the win!

Second place is RR PS1's soundtrack, which was in first prior to when I discovered Turrican.

Utopia comes in third place. One of its tracks is my favorite arrangement of Pachelbel's canon in D. The rest are also good. But still not enough to get first or second.

I would say the best video game songs are in Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Sonic & Knuckles.

Yeah I know, big shocker that I would mention those games.

Either:

You'll never hear anything quite as epic in a game's credits

Surprise, surprise, Trackmania made my list!

-OR-

This is the Black Mages version, but where besides Final Fantasy VI are you going to find a boss theme that's a freakin' 15 minute orchestral piece?!

It's kinda disappointing that PC games don't have too many good songs. I guess they just expect people to use their own music...

I have already heard it, being a TF2 player myself. It's pretty good. However, as I said before most PC games lack a good soundtrack. I'll clarify that it's because most PC games don't have a soundtrack at all, maybe just a theme and a credits roll track at most.

Granted, I don't play too many single player PC games. I'm a competitive multiplayer fan myself.

To post or not to post...?

Oh, this is a tough choice. But I think I'll go with Dark Impetus from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Wipeout, like Katatonic, but my absolute fav would have to be somethnig that I can't remember, but it was the best music I have ever heard. Its from a video game that may have came out recently, idk, but it was based on the future. My third fav would have to be:
