Hi! Three Questions...

Hi, I'm new here, but not new to the Lego games! For my first topic here I have three questions.

1. I know this has been asked a couple of times, but I have an original copy of LRR, and I want to know if there is a way I can play it without the disk.

2. I know there are modding tools for several of the other Lego games, but, has anyone made any mods for them? I'm specifically looking for Alpha Team mods, because, while I love the game, I have already beat it. I would love a reason to go back to Alpha Team :)

3. Finally, Legoland on Vista 64bit...is it possible?

I know these questions are kind of random, but I didn't want to start multiple topics. Thank You!

You can play LRR diskless only if you have the diskless version of the EXE. It's easy to tell if you have it. If the LegoRR.exe is around 760 kb and LegoRR.icd is 0 kb, your game will run without the disk. If LegoRR.icd is ~760 kb and LegoRR.exe is close to zero, then you need the disk. We can't supply a diskless EXE because it's illegal to redistribute them. However, if you find a re-release of LRR it should have the diskless EXE. There are releases for XP and Vista so those are both good bets.

Thanks for the quick response. So, I tried my Legoland disk, and it didn't work. It says that it is incompatible with 64bit. So, is there any work around? Plus, I am kind of bummed about the Rock Raiders thing, but I guess I can live with using a disk for now...

To run LRR diskless with the ICD version, you can try ripping an image of your disk and mounting it using an ISO tool. I've had some luck doing that.

Hey, welcome to the forums!

Alpha team? We are able to mod it, but it's been left mostly untouched. So, there are no released mods for alpha team.
