Chevron664
I've done this before here and there looking to see if there any Paintballers on RRU, but yeah here I am again. One of my friends from before the military, we'll call him jrock, came down last weekend, along with my wife even, and we all went to Wayne's World of Paintball south of me. MR4 performed well again, only one notable jam and no chops, granted I didn’t shoot that much paint. But most notably we got to see another field not too far from home. Bad news is that this field was about #7 or so in the nation (USA) not too many years ago, since then though I guess the owners have became a little less active (Wayne is like 70 freakin years old, still playing ) and the economy has gone to the outhouse... and yeah its summer, woods are wet from recent rains, its hot, spiders were freakin everywhere and very, very few lanes are maintained... you have to shoot down the roads to have a decent lane. But yeah I would recommend it but yeah it’s not #7 in the nation anymore probably... Next weekend we hope to ride up to Low Country Paintball to see if they still bring the HEAT. Fingers crossed. As for performance reports, I even got my wife to play. She took a round to the dome like a champ though, and I’m glad she didn’t give up after taking one to the top of the head like that. First games she hadn't a clue what was going on, poor girl. After a few rounds though, she started sticking her head out, but you see where that got her. Long story short she did well for her first time, but there were only about 30 people tops and the woods were overgrown to the point that you really couldn’t get any good shots off through the brush... I don’t think neither of us got a hit out of like 4 or so games. Equipment wise I think the MR4 performed well as I mentioned earlier. Other than the remote and tank, I pretty much ran stock. The gun shoots fairly consistent but given the overgrown field I couldn’t get any real good shots... I still hold my standing that I would recommend the gun to anyone trying to get into the woods ball scene. Anyway I’ll end my random tangent and get to the meat of this post, any paintballers here? And what kind of gear do you run with?
Cyrem
Fengo is the guy you want to talk to. He loves paintball. Myself? Played it once, it was good fun :)
McJobless
Next month, on my birthday, I'll be play my first paintball game. I'm looking forward to it, about 20 people coming. My friend is getting me 2000 paintballs, and he's letting my borrow his friends competition-spec gun. It's amazing. In a couple of months, I'll be heading to my first Total War game. It's military style, with camo, smoke, realistic guns and more. Multiple maps, hour long games, hundreds of players and much, much more. I'm excited. Chevron664
yeah extreme, we talked about it a while back. back when i first got the MR4. but yeah senario games are fun as hell... Oklahoma has a park thats the best in the nation, thousands of people with plenty of vehicles and at least one chopper is there for the big games. its crazy... 16 hour drive from here though... i wanna go so bad! nearby there's about 2-3 places that host senario games and Moody even has one on base that i go to here and there but only 15 or so people will show up at the most...
