Drill Master
Ok, so last night I was browsing the program files when I came across the RMonster folder. I opened it up and looked around and found the RMonster AE file . I opened it and decided to change the size of rock monsters (Nothing too big just changed the scale from 1.0 to 3.0). I went to run LRR and the loading bar was about 90% complete when it crashed saying: "LegoRR.ICD has stopped working." I went back and changed the scale back to 1.0 and..... "LegoRR.ICD has stopped working". I have somehow completely crashed the game forever... What have I done? I have modded the cfg file several times with no crash, just with changing that scale size. If anyone can help I would greatly appriciate it.
Redacted
re-install?
TheDoctor
Yes, reinstall the game, and then COPY the Rock Raiders folder out of Program Files, to something like C:UsersDrill MasterGamesModdedRR. Mess with it there, so you always have a clean install to copy when you do something like this. It happens all the time.
Cirevam
Make sure you didn't save it as Rmonster.ae.txt or something like that.
TheDoctor
Make sure you didn't save it as Rmonster.ae.txt or something like that. Well of course this, but I doubt this would happen, as typically this would happen when you make a new file, not when editing one. That, or you used Save As... for some reason. Leumeister
Pro tip: Don't use notepad or wordpad, use PSPad, because it saves the file as the filetype that it was loaded as.
Phoenyx
Pro tip: Don't use notepad or wordpad, use PSPad, because it saves the file as the filetype that it was loaded as. Actually, Notepad will save as the loaded file-type, but it will often cause issues with ASCII/Unicode specific files. Which is still reason to use something else. McJobless
I use Notepad and still no crashes. PSPad is a waste of resources to me. Lair
