I seriously have no clue what to do anymore so......

Why? There's still a ton of stuff in this room you haven't even looked at yet.

Yell for help

You try to yell, but it turns into a cough.

No one hears you.

STUDY THE REST OF THE ROOM!

You've already done that. You should probably examine specific areas. You've already looked at the shelves...Maybe you should try studying something else that was pointed out when you first scanned the room.

Why don't you tell us what to do? Or better yet why don't you restart this because if you obviously can't understand our suggestions then you are giving us bad information that's making it harder for us to play.

4. then you are giving us bad information that's making it harder for us to play.

1. Because YOU are the one giving the command, I'm giving the response.

2. I already restarted it twice. I'm not doing this crap again.

3. I understand your suggestions, but some the things that have been suggested would lead to nowhere, hence why I ignore them.

4. No, I give you perfectly good information, you're supposed to use your brain and enter commands like "examine X" to get the information yourself.

How about you quit complaining and play the game?

Open up the back on the PDA and see if the password is written on the back of the inside.

You attempt to unscrew the back of the PDA... did I mention this was an electronic screwdriver? Neat huh? But it doesn't matter, because there's just a small power cell. A little larger than your flashlight's power cell, but it won't fit that computer.

I asked if the PDA password was on the inside of the battery area.

NO, it is NOT, that's why I did not say anything about a password being in the battery area.

Frosting megachugs. If you meant to look behind the battery, say "Take out the battery and look for the code" instead of making posts like this.

take out the battery and see if it's there.

You remove the PDA's power cell.

Nothing. Phooey.

Maybe it's in this room? Or through those doors? In the desks? Books? Who knows.

What Lair means to say is try to be a little bit more specific so he can help you out

Attempt to crack the password by guessing random things many times

You decide to try random 8-letter passwords.

*give a few*

Check if I have been locked out of the PDA yet due to too many tries.

You haven't, fortunately, but you should try something else.

Check how many more tries I have just in case I have to do it again

It doesn't say. The owner probably didn't set it to do this.

Look around again once more so I can remind myself and maybe find something new

The room has a desk with a hatch under it. There's a large shelf with books and boxes on it, but the bottom shelf has fallen onto another desk. There's a smaller shelf with more stuff. One corner of the room has pipes sticking out of the top of the wall with a box wedged behind it. There are two doors, with stuff on the wall near one.

OOC: I feel like I've gone the wrong way with this... everyone is too confused.
