Lair
STUDY THE REST OF THE ROOM! You've already done that. You should probably examine specific areas. You've already looked at the shelves...Maybe you should try studying something else that was pointed out when you first scanned the room.

Lair
See if you can remove the pipes or move the box out. You can remove the pipes if you had something to unscrew the pipes...wait, you have a wrench!

Lair
Use the wrench to remove the pipes. You use the wrench on the pipe. It is a very rusty wrench. The wrench breaks!
Shadow322
Did you get the box at least, if not then see if there a way to open it as is.

Lair
See if you have any other tools you can use or see if you can finish removing the first pipe with your hands. The pipe is bolted in. You use the spare wire on the pipe. You feel dumber.
STUDZ
In moments like these, you need to step back and examine where the wrench broke; see if you can still use it.

Lair
Use the scanner to see if you get any readings from the box. The electrical analyzer detects nothing. You need to figure out what this is for.
Sonic322
Is the map done yet? So I looked back at the last few pages. Put the box behind the pipes on hold and check out the box on the top of the shelf or the mystery book on the shelf below it.
Lair
check out the box on the top of the shelf or the mystery book on the shelf below it. The box is locked! The book on the lower shelf is a very thick reference guide to electronics and engineering and mechanics and heck you don't know what.
Shadow322
Try breaking the box on the shelf with the bluntest end of the remaining part of the wrench.
Sonic322
If not that then open the book and try to find your scanner in the reference guide.
Lair
Try breaking the box on the shelf with the bluntest end of the remaining part of the wrench. The scrap metal from the wrench has no effect on the box on the shelf. open the book and try to find your scanner in the reference guide. You pick up and open the "Guide to Electronics and Engineering" book. It's very heavy. You feel dazed and close the book. You'll have to try again when your headache is better. Sonic322
Put the book in your inventory if it's not too heavy. Now there shouldn't be anything of importance left in the room that you can use so leave and check the other door. (There was a second door right? Is the map done yet!) Lair
Updating the rules because Sonic322's post made me realize no one really understands. Don't put a bunch of extra stuff in your post, it makes it confusing. Put the book in your inventory The book is too large to fit in your inventory. For now.
