I decided to just fade out quietly, but now I'm popping in to say hi and show you guys I'm not dead. I hang around Facepunch these days. Yeah I know it's filled with elitist "know it alls", and I wouldn't want it any other way. Oh and I see my pony topic is still kicking. It's a shame I'm not that into those pastel equine any more. I just kinda sorta hate the community now. Listen, when you go to school with a kid who literally wants to do some very questionable things to Fluttershy (my most hated pony), you'd grow away from it too. Also Facepunch has a huge anti pony complex going on, must've rubbed off on me. Don't get me wrong I don't hate the show, I just don't like the ultra annoying and very vocal 25% of the fanbase. See, the people at Facepunch really frown upon LOVE AND TOLERANCE and all those other brony catchphrases they so love to wave around. That and other things got me thinking about how it's not really good to let one thing kind of define you. I don't want to be known as "the brony guy". I mean ponies falls into the realm of a guilty pleasure I indulge every now and then, but it's not something I really love any more. Now if you wanna know something I really like, Earthbound. Yes I will post there, but only if I decided to watch the rest of season two and give you my thoughts. I have a couple episodes on my iPod I haven't watched yet. It's far far from the pony stables.... First. You ever hear that phrase Homestuck fans use to show how huge fans they are? They got nothing on me. Let me tell you about Earthbound. Quickly. Earthbound is what I consider to be the greatest game of all time. It has one hell of an awesome story, the game oozes quirkiness, and it has all these little touches that can really hit home and pull on your heartstrings. The graphics look simplistic but that is by choice, the style really helps set the tone for the game. Above all, the ending made my cry man tears of sadness and joy. I recommend this game to everybody, you must play this game. Sadly, Nintendo has forsaken the fans outside of Japan, only Mother 2 was released here, and a virtual console version won't ever be made. Strangely you can play as Ness and Lucas in Super Smash Brothers, even though Ness was in Mother2 (Earthbound) and Lucas was in Mother3 which was never even released outside of Japan. Second. Yeah, Nintendo has always been at the top of the list when it comes to stupid ass disicions. Like I recently discovered that the Star Fox character Krystal was actually supposed to have her own game called Dinosaur Planet, it looked like a really good game, she would have been a cat, had a brother, the plot sounded really awesome. But the retarded Japanese head of Nintendo called up Rare and told them to turn the awesome game into the crappy Star Fox Adventure game. The story and setting and characters and all that good stuff that matters was put into the GBA game Mother3. It's the exact same game, just, not in 3D... ...and completely different game-play... ... and the art style is dif- SHUT UP! EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME! Mother3 was sadly only released in Japan, but an amazing fan translation patch quickly popped up and now most can enjoy it proveded they have a ROM and an emulator. I've seemed to hit that Brony "sweet Spot" where I don't LOVE LOVE LOVE the show, but I don't hate it. It seems to be the community that pulls people away from the show. I won't shove pony in your face, and actually I try to keep pony stuff within the Brony thread. But, aside from that, Earthbound is best game. Right up there with Banjo-Kazooie. Great games, man!
