I got sets 6639 Raven Racer, 1853 Hypno Cruiser, and 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress, all for 25 bucks used at a yard sale today, some missing parts, but I replaced them with my current inventory.

Pics soon :D

Alcom's Journal. 8/8/2012, Entry 1.

I have found another piece of evidence proving the existence of the A'yard'sale, the legendary temple filled with ancient LEGO Sets available prices unheard of. It is a script from a man named El Scorcho, in which he claims to have acquired two ancient sets for $25. I estimate that this piece of writing was made sometime in the early 21st century. It gives no indication as to where the temple is, or whether or not the temple still stands, but I now firmly believe that the temple exists, and that it can be found.

That's the Flying Ninja Fortress, of course, and next to it, the Raven Racer, and Hypno Cruiser.

Some pieces you can really tell they are dated, but at 25 dollars, who cares?

Story goes, this guy just wants to clean out his room, he hates people who just gouge them on Amazon and eBay after they buy them, he wanted someone who would keep them and cherish them, so he sold me them at a bizarre price, heh, I don't have a problem with it!

He probably sold them to me cheap because I am 16, and he knew I wouldn't do anything stupid and keep them.

Oh, and, the "Ninja" sets make "Ninjago" look like Duplo. Just sayin'.

Do want that Hypno Cruiser...

Then again, I did get that LEGO Ghost Train last week, so I can make my own Twisted Time Train.......

Retsnom Kcor

I'm not really a big fan of the Time Cruisers sets, but the Flying Ninja Fortress... I'm Jelly.

Nice deal, though. I never get good deals. xD

No, this one time I got a big box of parts from some guy for $200. I looked through the parts, and found the Futuron monorail set, about 98% complete, plus the accessory track set. There was a ton of other old sets too, but the monorail was all I cared about...

Twisted Time Train.......

I had two of that set once. It was really cool.

No-one holds yard sales in America. This sucks.

I believe you meant Australia...

But anyway, I still see lots of YARD SALE signs and variants thereof here in Canada. Sometimes I even take a few as mementos. Seriously, these people just leave them on telephone poles for days at a time!

Truth is, I found this on craigslist as "complete lego kits".

I immediately went, and boy was I not disappointed, three rare sets for 25 dollars, not to mention a set that was 90 dollars retail in 1999.
