Help Please. I'm not new, but I've only posted once before.

As the title says, I need help. I am not new to this site, I have used it for almost a year when looking up answers to questions of mine regarding Lego Rock Raiders. However, I have only posted once...to be honest, I got some unhelpful rude answers.

But without further ado, I have a question that will hopefully be simple to some of you. I have been working on editing the cfg file...However, when I edit the section under Dependencies, nothing changes in game play...Please someone, I would love to know how to edit the dependencies correctly.

By the way, I have tried using the search bar, many times, I have tried Google. I get no luck. So asking one of you directly will hopefully work.

Thanks.

Are you referring to the Lego.cfg? I'm not sure which section you are referring to (there's no section in the Lego.cfg called "Dependencies"). Do you mean organizing how the levels unlock each other? Or are you referring to something else?

Have you left the original wads in the LRR folder? If you're using the Data method, you have to move the old wads somewhere else, or the game loads those and not your modded files.

Edit: I looked at your other topic and I saw nothing that would constitute as rude. ಠ_ಠ

By dependencies, do you mean that one section where defines the teleportation requirements of each building and vehicle?

The old post was a long time ago. From what I remember, I found something rude...

Anyway...on the cfg (Yes, the Lego.cfg), directly above "THE LEVEL SECTION", is a list of dependencies for which buildings/vehicles need what buildings in order to be able to be built...did I make that confusing? If so, perhaps try to take a look at it.

@addictedgamer, Yes, that is the section I'm talking about :}

Ah yes, that part. Now, are you using the Data method or Wad method? Data method is moving the folders in the wads to the Data folder, and moving the wads. It makes modding faster. The Wad method is extracting the wads, changing a file, then repacking the wads. If you're using the Data method, you might not have deleted/moved the old wads.

I'm using the Data method. I have definatly deleted the old WADs. (I have backups of EVERYTHING, in case something goes wrong).

But no, I am not accidentally crossing my backup WADs with the game files or anything like that. I'm trying to make it so that for example: A power station doesn't need a teleport pad, but instead, just a tool store. That is what I'm trying to change in dependencies.
