hammer326 Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 Hey guys, I'm obviously a newcomer. I've been an avid PC gamer for about 10 years. In fact, LRR was actually one of the games that helped really kick things off, grand old times those were. Glad that through the efforts of fine communities like this, those grand old times continue, or in my case start again . I recently endured the loss of my video card so a friend brought an old one over which is inferior to say the least, so I thought I'd make a day out of it and install some old games I never finished or had a lot of fun with, LRR among them. I stumbled upon this place and here I am, pretty basic story but there it is I've become incredibly intolerant of the abomination the gaming industry now is (read about that and my many other ventures at my blog if you like, www.thewardepartment.blogspot.com) and make frequent retreats regardless of condition of my hardware to my personal classics like LRR. I enjoy many games of strategy and pretty much entered gaming via command and conquer, and have been at it hard ever since. I'd like to thank everyone who contribute to this place for all their hard work and a heartfelt greeting to the community abroad, thanks ! Some being quite crazy, others being more sane. Command and conquer and LRR? Sounds similar to my first gaming experiences. I don't do much gaming these days aside from Dwarf Fortress.
