Fifi La Fume
Here's a downloadable minifig player type you can play as. He isn't customizable, but he is still a blast to the past. This is Nepeta Leijon from Homestuck done via Image2Brick converter. Still cute even with a limited palette! :

Fifi La Fume
Aoki's City RPG... THE f****ING SIDEWALK HATES CARS. OH GO AHEAD AND BE A CRIMINAL, I'LL JUST SIT HERE WITH MY CAR STUCK ON THE f****ING SIDEWALK. But really, might as well be a foot cop.
Fluffy Cupcake
Btw, if you guys wanted to play any of the marvelous old maps (some awesome stuff in here!) which are not plain flat maps, then you'll need to download an older version of blockland (V16 or V17, I think) via the Wayback Machine, and then get a certain addon which prevents the game from updating. It kinda sucks how you are forced to play on flat only maps now. Although it does encourage creativity.

lol username
So uh, where can I get that LEGO player type?
Zed
I don't play blockland anymore, but I started by playing RTB 1.045 in 2009, then I bought retail in 2010 and played until some last year. Does anyone who played the game while it still had interior/terrain maps remember the GSF maps? Some of those were my favorite maps (Aside from the default maps and slate edits). I especially liked the Vice City map because it almost reminded me more of the backgrounds for the Island Xtreme Stunts sets than Vice City from GTA. I actually have some screenshots of that map still. I might post some of them later... So uh, where can I get that LEGO player type? You can get it here: http://forum.returntoblockland.com/dlm/viewFile.php?id=
Zed
Alright, got some screenshots of Vice City ready: Here is one of the city streets. The road and stud textures are different because I downloaded this map and replaced those textures a few years ago. The Pizza to Go set and some nightclub. The studio. I'm sure you could see how the map reminded me of Island Xtreme Stunts here. Golf Course. A cool explorien logo recolor at the Hartman International Airport (As in Eric Hartman, the creator of Blockland). There are also some ghosts that appear around the city in the night version and an underworld. Unfortunately, they didn't appear in RTB for some reason. However, the underworld's water is still here: In case you're wondering, there is a ghost face in the water. I have some more screenshots at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=533388 For some reason, brickshelf won't unzip my whole .zip folder. So I will have to upload the missed screenshots one by one. I might also post some screenshots of GSF San Andreas later. Unfortunately, that map has some more bugs (Invisible water, missing things). Also, the brick and road textures have different names from Vice City (VC uses the same names as RTB's textures for ones borrowed from it). lol username
Ah man I loved that pizzeria set as a little kid... Nostalgiaaaaaaaa... Anyway I'm having a bit of a bug with the minifig player type, when I make a mini game and switch the player type to minifig, the head floats above the torso like there's a neck piece attached, even though there's not, and my normal avatar has no neck piece enabled. Help? Edit - IcePlanetAstro gave me a solution via Steam chat; switch the player type by activating a brick instead of using it as the player type of a minigame. Works now, yay! Zed
Got some screenshots of San Andreas. The brick textures actually weren't a problem, but the water and sky textures didn't appear for some reason: Soccer field. That Lego bush isn't default. I actually tried to use Lego Racers' textures to go over the default, but it appeared a lot bigger than what I was hoping for. An intersection in the desert half of the city. I don't know what is with those palm trees in the middle of the road. My best guess is that this wasn't a flaw and was caused by aliens, which are mentioned to be real around parts of this map. Blockywood sign. Not entirely sure what this is, but i think its a skate park. A neighborhood cul-de-sac. Another thing that is gone are some aliens that appeared all over the city in the night version. Bigfoot was also an easter egg mentioned in the hard part of the list, but I never found him. However, the underworld didn't disappear here: There are also other versions, including one without buildings, one covered in snow, and even a zombie apocalypse version with destroyed buildings and a nuke skybox. This one doesn't look anything like the one in vice city, though. While this one is like an underwater New York, the other one was a floating platform with oddly designed buildings. I don't like this map quite as much. Even though there are more enter-able, less boxy, and larger buildings, I think the feel is different from Vice City. It could possibly be that I prefer GTAVC over GTASA, but I think the Vice City map had a classic Lego feel to it while this map reminds me of current Lego but more realistic. The guy who made both these maps also made some others, such as New York City, Invader Zim's house, and some others. I could never find any of the easter eggs on New York, but I heard that there was both a blue hell and a blue heaven. I also found the interior for NYC's blue hell back when Blockland had a mission editor. If NYC works, I'll have to post screenshots of that. I remember finding that map better than San Andreas and a little more like classic Lego. You can see all of this guy's maps at http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=44273.0 . Man, I sure do miss the interior/terrain maps. EDIT - NYC doesn't work
Fluffy Cupcake
Man, I sure do miss the interior/terrain maps.So do I, so do I...Are you playing on an older version of Blockland (like mentioned above) or what?
Zed
Although NYC doesn't work properly in RTB, I found a picture of that map's blue hell in the textures. I think this was either used for blue heaven or one of the neon billboards around the city: Vice City's blue hell looked similar to this but not as detailed. Man, I sure do miss the interior/terrain maps. So do I, so do I... Are you playing on an older version of Blockland (like mentioned above) or what? I used RTB 1.045 to capture the screenshots. Fifi La Fume
Wow. That is one dodgy skate park. (Yes, it's a skate park, there's a few on SA.)
Fluffy Cupcake
Well, regarding this game coming on Steam (for anyone who cares). I believe it will be happening. On the greenlight page it says "The community has shown their interest in this game. Valve has reached out to this developer to start moving things toward release on Steam." (and yes that colour came with the copy-paste. : P) STUDZ

I like the way you drop the store link beneath the video, as if to say 'You've seen the awesome trailer. Now go buy it.'
