dead_name
Say what you like about the gameplay (and give them credit, the inventory system is VERY nice), but you cannot deny that graphically it's absolutely gorgeous. Spoiler Spoiler What do you guys think about it?
Lair
one does not simply make Lego lord of the rings no this isn't supposed to mean anything not nonsense. The game looks...like a game. of lego STUDZ
Zephyria
Looks like any other LEGO TT game ever to me. Except with much higher texture res. And slightly better lighting.
dead_name
In my defence, I've only played LSW1&2 (PC), LSW TCS (DS), LSW3 (3DS), and LLotR (PC). I've been a tad out of touch with the series' next-gen-console offerings. That said, the visuals have definitely improved a LOT over time:
lu9
Finally they got rid of the default circled blue and green player icons. And I gotta say, that image is pretty. It even looks like it's from a LEGO feature film
Zephyria
I won't deny that.
lu9
the only TT game I have for "modern" consoles is LEGO Star Wars 1 and 2 for PS2, and The Complete Saga for PC. The rest I have is for the Nintendo DS... Wonder if TT would someday make LEGO Star Wars IV with Disney's release of episode 7, 8 and 9? Then we will play LEGO Star Wars with the beauty graphics :D
Jimbob
The Lego TT games I've owned are Lego Star Wars (ah, I remember buying our new nvidia graphics for our old 30GB PC)and Lego Star Wars II on PC, Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones on DS, and Lego Batman (first one) on PS3. These graphics look immense, the reason I've avoided buying their latest games was that I got this 'play one, play them all' feel to it. But I haven't read much about LLotR, and I may just have to get it...
Fluffy Cupcake
I'll probably end up getting it on Steam when a good discount comes around. It looks good/fun/interesting enough for me to get it. Also, there is like an hour and a half worth of cutscenses in this game. Long enough to be a movie!
