AcePilot90
I know, this isn't a LEGO Review, but it is just as cool, trust me. It is the NECA 7-inch Half-life 2 version of the hero known as Dr. Gordon Freeman. I got this figure as an unexpected Christmas gift. This is the packaging I recieved it in, mine seems a little beat up, but that's Amazon. The packaging features graphics of Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance, and the background is a faint image of City 17, with a nice Half-life 2 logo. On the back side there is a Half-life 2 logo, along with a brief description of Doctor Gordon Freeman. Ditto. Alright, enough of the packaging, let's take a look at the figure and it's accessories. Gordon comes complete with the Gravity gun, his trusty crowbar, the bugbait, two pairs of extra hands to hold the Gravity gun with, and of course, the headcrab. The Gravity gun is really detailed and looks just like the ingame model. Most GMOD players with recognize this model as the Physics gun, except in blue. Gordon Freeman holding the Gravity gun, using his extra pair of hands. The hands just pop off, and from there, you can snap in the other pair of hands. The Headcrab is no exception for detail. The Headcrab looks exactly like the one seen in the game, it has green veins, bloodstains, teeth, and hooked feet for latching onto it's victims... The underside of the headcrab. It features a gory look with sharp menacing teeth. And if you can get your fingernail under the hole... The insert pops out, and from there... You can turn almost any action figure into a makeshift Headcrab Zombie! Gordon Freeman takes a whack at a Headcrab who has nested on Master Cheif's head. He has his handy crowbar and bugbait, which both fit snuggly into his hands. The Headcrab also has some articulation in it's front arms, they can spin all the way around on a joint. And now finally, let's look at the Freeman himself. Gordon has A LOT of detail, including his goatee, chainmail, and of course, his horn-rimmed glasses, which are really detailed and aren't molded onto his eyes. On Gordon's back is what I think is the charger for the suit. There's also a couple peg holes, which hint more Half-life figures. Gordon features over 20 points of articulation, his arms bend at the elbow and shoulder, the chest can twist 360 degrees, the hand are on ball joints, and the legs bend at the knee and also feature hip joints which can be popped out of socket for some cool poses. The feet are also on a ball joint and can move up and down a bit. The Freeman finds a low poly Combat Evolved Master Cheif who has been taken over by a Headcrab, don't ask me how, it just did. Here is Gordon Freeman next to a N64 Cartridge and a Minifig, as you can see, he is actually quite big. Sorry about the bizarre lighting, but you get the idea. Final Thoughts: The articulation could be better, but is restricted by some points in the armor. One of the Headcrab's legs seems a little shorter or in a different position than the other, so it's a tad hard to get the pose just right. And that's about it, if you like Half-life, GMOD, or Valve, this figure is a must have. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

McJobless
Scorcho, you don't happen to have one of those 11" Head Crab plush hats, do you? They were selling them here but run out. Apparently the people who bought them (found this out thanks to the staff at EB Games) didn't even know now what they were, and haven't even heard of Half-Life. f****. DAT.
