Regarding Retexturing

Currently I'm working on a Brickster character for Lego Racers. Upon coloring the hands, I ran into something interesting.

The Brickster, of course, has one white hand and one blue hand. It shows this in the preview for the torso, but not on the actual character. As none of the original characters have differently-colored hands, I assume the game won't allow this. Just wanted to share.

 

BTW I know the face sucks but this is still a WIP.

If you wanted, you could use the Brickster's face and torso from LI2.

I wonder if it's now possible to add new parts instead of replacing them... Maybe someone could investigate using the LR1 Binary Editor?

It would be cool if we could add a reversed cap for the Brickster.

Wow. That makes the different faces for the drivers license a cinch. Thanks.

 

 

Yeah, adding new parts would be great. A backwards cap or knit hat like he wears in the later games.
