lol username
You may remember that the first The Legend of Zelda project on LEGO CUUSOO to reach 10,000 votes was rejected last year. However, this was not due to licensing issues as might be expected. The reason for rejection was actually the project creator specifying that a number of new LEGO pieces should be created just for that single set - over 20, in fact, far too many for LEGO to realistically produce: The Legend of Zelda project shows broad support among gaming enthusiasts . This project has provided great inspiration and concept work for what could be a very nice product. However, multiple new element moulds would be required to create the minifigures for such a product, and the expense of these moulds means that the Legend of Zelda project does not pass the LEGO Review on the basis of the business case. Please note: If a project does not pass the LEGO Review please do not interpret that as an indication that we will not consider similar projects in the future. Notice the last sentence in the quote. It turns out an official LEGO Zelda set might not be too far off... This project by Ragaru stays mostly within the realm of possibility with its new element requirements, and is currently less than 400 votes away from official LEGO review. It could easily hit the 10,000 mark within days - sooner if it gets a final push. So what are you waiting for? McJobless
Can't you already build Link out of LEGO? I don't see what would have been so special about this theme if it was produced in LEGO. Would have been too much generic fantasy, IMO. Better if it came out on PC.
Cyrem
You probably can, but that's not the point. People want a special set with all the pieces.
