lol username
A semi-official project for LEGO models based on the popular indie game FTL: Faster than Light has been posted on CUUSOO, and it's gaining supporters... Well, faster than light. The project was originally started by CrashSanders, as a simple model of the Kestrel, which he posted on the official FTL forums. After getting support from the community, he decided to make LEGO versions of more of the game's spaceships. Eventually it caught the attention of the game's creators, Matthew Davis and Justin Ma. The developers wanted to create some personal copies of the model for themselves, so CrashSanders suggested that they instead put it on CUUSOO for a chance at becoming a real LEGO set. The developers agreed, and avid CUUSOO user, blogger, and Brickset staff member GlenBricker (who I might add I met at Brick Fiesta last year, he's an awesome guy!) joined the project to add some 3D renders. The project was posted on CUUSOO yesterday, and shows off LEGO versions of multiple spaceships from the game, as well as figures of the various species. It now has nearly 1,000 supporters. I know several other members of RRU who love the game, so let's make that number bigger! Sources: Official CUUSOO PageBrick Hero
McJobless
Eh. I played FTL, and I couldn't see why it's so fun. Moreover, the space craft didn't really engage my curiosity. I think there are better things for LEGO to turn into actual themes. Namely, the Valve games. STUDZ
