LEGO Star Wars - Modding and Scripting

Hello!

Recently I've discovered the way to edit the files of LEGO: SW The complete saga. By opening the .dat files and taking those folders (e.g. CHAR, PC etc) from there and putting it in main game route. Works perfectly. However I've been working last night for a while trying to figure out a way to edit player_2.

What I mean by that is to make my AI partner more useful and/or useless. Example - I want my partner to TAKE damage instead of being completely immune to all sorts of damage. (Apart from fall damage and your own damage) And maybe even make him DEAL damage to enemies. I've tried editing the party .scps to SetInvulnerable "FALSE" and to many other scripts. No luck.

If anyone can help, it would be thanked.

And if I'm posting on the wrong side of this forum or there was already a question like this asked, I apologise since I just joined today.

Thanks,

Spets.

We knew how to extract the files and run the game without the .dats, but we only knew basic script and file swaps.

I'm looking into it now, and I'll get back to you. My concern is it might be hardcoded behaviour, but there's probably another toggle somewhere. I'll get back to you with my results.

Alright, I'm heading off to bed now.

Hope to hear the results in the morning. :af:

Thanks,

It's been a while, and I still can't find a toggle.

I know you may be busy and stuffs so I'll leave this up for a while till' you find something.

Thanks.

I've been balancing assessments and trying to figure this out for a little while now, and I still have nothing useful to report yet, but I will keep trying. It has to be a scripting function somewhere. At the very least, there should be some work around.

Do hold out, we're getting closer, but it's not getting easier.

Damn this is quite old, but funnily enough I came back here since it was the was the only way to get an answer.

Bumping this because I need some answers, hehe.

Well damn, it seems like it IS hard-coded behavior. (not to sure)

I don't know man, after HUGE amounts of searching and editing scripts nothing seemed to have work.

Damn and I wanted my partner to be useful for once.
