lol username
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is getting a port for the Wii U this Spring. It's not going unaltered though, the developers are adding an interactive map on the Gamepad, and are also adding support for playing the game on the Gamepad directly, without the TV screen. As long as we're on the subject of LEGO Batman 2, a bit of interesting information popped up a few weeks ago which might be worth mentioning now. Remember LEGO Batman: The Movie and how it was made of cutscenes from LEGO Batman 2? Well, it turns out the situation was actually reversed: The movie was made first, and the animations and story were used for the game before the movie was revealed to the public. In other words, TT Games created and released a movie tie-in game before the movie it was adapted from was even announced. Imagine Disney releasing a video game with abnormally high quality cutscene animation, and then months later saying "Oh yeah, that game we released is an adaption a movie we're working on, sorry we spoiled the everything with the game before even announcing the real movie". Huh. Sources: IGNCBR
Jimbob
Ha, well I suppose that explains the level of detail in the cutscenes, and the use of voices (I know they're using voices as standard now, but still). I guess that means the movie won't be as bad as was originally thought?
