If Nubby Stevens was a Rock Raider

For some reason, a boring afternoon has brought upon me this hilarious concept: Nubby as a rock raider.

:nubby: "Why do we gather building materials if everything is teleported down from the explorer? And are the construction barriers really necessary?

What kind of logic do the dependencies follow, anyway? Somehow the teleport pad needs no power, but only for the power station?

What's so terrifying about harmless bats?

How come dynamiting walls doesn't kill all the small spiders in them?

How come firing the lasers on a vehicle drains the crystals back at the base instead of the ones actually in the vehicle?

How do people not notice they stepped in lava? Is it the same reason monsters are blind to electric fences? Or rockwhales to water?

Why is it raiders drain air out of a cavern, but not vehicles? Couldn't you just create remote-controlled vehicles and not have to worry about air?

Can't we just cap off slimy slug holes?

Why can't the small digger or the chrome crusher carry anything in their beds? And how come the hover scout can't go over water?

How come the granite grinder's drill is so weak compared to the identical one on the chrome crusher?

Why does the tunnel scout have drills if it can't use them?

Why does the freezer beam's freezing last the same amount of time in all environments? Is it because it isn't real ice? But then if that's true, then why does it affect monsters differently?

How come lava can erode straight up to a lake without it boiling? How does lava in an ice cavern make sense at all?

If monsters can't emerge from solid rock, then how could they emerge from different areas separated by it?

Why do slugs only go after bases, even if there are more plentiful sources of crystals around?"

The Ace Railgun

What's so terrifying about harmless bats?

Well for one there is a 1/100000000 chance that they can turn into a vampire

How come firing the lasers on a vehicle drains the crystals back at the base instead of the ones actually in the vehicle?

Maybe there's a difference if you could recolor the vehicles to blue or red,  :nubby:

  1. To replenish construction stock in the LMS so they can keep creating buildings to replace ones any creates destroy or otherwise don't get teleported safely.
  2. That didn't make sense.
  3. Because they're SUPPOSED to swoop down and annoy the working raiders, but the code is all over the place.
  4. The rock absorbs the shock of the explosion.
  5. The crystals are linked via some ancient black magic cast by a dark, sexy wizard in her mid-20s.
  6. Because the caves are dark and in those suits conditions are not good to be aware of your surroundings.
  7. Vehicles do not breathe and use the crystals for energy; they don't require air to cause the spark that makes the engine run.
  8. They're either too large or of a weird construction that makes them difficult to just cap.
  9. They aren't designed for carry material and have no way to fill them. The Hover Scout doesn't have enough power to fly over water which is much denser than land, and absorbs the rays the engine system uses to hover (I assume that's how it works).
  10. They're not identical, but share the same appearance.
  11. For emergencies.
  12. It's a special type of ice which is designed to be effective in all environments, but the different anatomies of each individual species of Monster modifies the effect.
  13. It's boiling, but you can't see the smoke because the player character has terrible eyesight and sees everything as if it were made with a low amount of polygons. Lava comes from under the ice-cavern but the temperature is cooler than that of lava in the other environments, so its effects are lesser.
  14. Caverns deeper underground connecting the areas together. Also, we are still unsure of the entire creation process of the rock monster. It's possible that certain types of microorganisms which are native to all environments on Planet U in all caverns form the monsters.
  15. They assume that a fully functioning base will have a greater source of power to keep it running. They are simple creatures.

It's 2:22AM and I think I did pretty well.

That didn't make sense.

You build the Teleport Pad before the Power Station, even though you need a Power Station AND a Support Station to use it.

Remember that witch I was talking about? This is actually where she lives. You need to bring down her home.
