LimeKiller
So I installed RobExplorien's map mod today, but upon racing I realized that (1 - there were green bricks, which I had replaced with brick-less PWB's, and 2) - my texture-modded character had reverted back to his original textures. The maps, however, were changed. I looked through the game files, and opened the PWB's with the editor. They were the correct ones. All of the texture BMP's were correct too. The textures it was showing in game did not exist. So why is it showing the wrong ones?! I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, replaced the files, and the stupid thing still wasn't working. Does anybody have any idea what I can do here? le717
I'm... stunned. This sounds... insane. Could be that there are GAMEDATA and MENUDATA folders or LEGO.JAM in %LocalAppData%VirtualStore*path to Racers installation*, and they could be taking priority over the ones in Program Files. If that's not it, I have not a clue... LimeKiller and LUModder
RobExplorien
Ow, that's not good. These may seem like dumb questions, but might there have been made any mistakes while overwriting GAMEDATA? Or have you compiled the wrong archive (e.g. having the wrong MENUDATA and GAMEDATA combined)? The map revamp mod only includes retextured IGD_MAP files, and an additional retextured SPEED.BMP file. The rest in the GAMEDATA folder are default files. I got no trouble combining the map revamp mod with modified .PWB files and such. EDIT: Yeah, what le717 said could likely be the cause.
