Path.map works only in starting cavern & Glitchy heightmap while placing buildings

Like in title. I used map creator to make new map. This is map like run the gauntlet, you need to guide rock raider to base. In starting cavern there is a lot of rubble - and it of course appears, I added it in path.map. But. Path.map works only in Cavern which is discovered from starting the level. Even if I added power paths in cavern where is a base (hidden cavern of course), the path dont appear in game.

How to make it working?

 

Second problem: In discovered cavern where are base, some buildings (ore refinery, super teleport) have glitchy heightmap. Even I hadn't added any height variations in place where base is, it still appears a random holes (areas in thereinbefore places appears as it was -7 height level instead of 0). How to avoid this problem?

 

Im working on Axels mod, but with my own levels.

I've experienced the same issues, if I remember correctly Cyrem said that power paths cannot be added in hidden caverns, and that glitches with the height maps are unavoidable.

 

So I guess you'll have to find another way around it!

Maybe you can try the power paths with the Custom Objects, but I'm not sure, ... and too lazy to go check it on the other computer where RR is installed :P

Then, what name should I use for this object? "PowerPath" ?

Yes, i would try to use that. If it doesn't work, try to find the Object name of the Power Path (e.g. the Tunnel Scout is called SmallHeli) by searching for its values (costing 2 ores)...

The object name for the Power Path is "Path". I'm going to give this a try as well.

Edit: Don't bother, the game crashes if you place Power Paths in the OL file.
