it makes playing games on my laptop ten times easier

MSFS9 is much better with the controller

i will release an update when i can get the bluetooth wireless to work right with my laptop

if your interested in the driver just ask ill gladly send it to you

O_O Geek. :P

I'm not really interested in using it (I don't even have a PS3 or controller), but how did you do it? In what programming language?

And is it open-source?

well i wrote a programed a program to listen to the usb port and plugged in the controller. i figured out how it was trying to communicate with the comp. when attached to usb the bluetooth wireless gets shut off and uses the usb only. i programed the driver in c++

i dont like to release my source.

Lol, i just had to quote that.

Anyway, Can you do the same for a ps2 controller? Maybe email me it? Ps2 one if you make it that is, and i get the controller connected to my pc somehow.

Are there ps2 controllers to connect to a pc? (pc as in personal computer which includes desktops and laptops)

well i have heard of a few hardware mods for ps2 controllers that make it usable for usb. but as far as i know it ruins the controller so i can only be used on usb. the ps2 controller has strange power requirerments that are much higher then usb. but if i can get ahold of a modded ps2 controller ill try to write a driver for it

i found a ps2 controller to usb converter online

Why would you mutilate a PS2 controller to make it USB? Just get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Playstation-2-PC-USB-Gamepad-Converter/dp/B000F6BGXY

Buddy you should see some of the Nerf guns that my brothers and I modify. We've cut down on the dremel work, but I'm going to go crazy with my tools over winter.
