Let's face it, your Rock Raiders are pretty slow at everything. It's bad enough watching them trudge to a piece of LEGO ore 400 milks away, but then the trip back is at least twice as slow. That's why we made the Front Loader. It can't carry very much more than a well-trained Rock Raider, but it is much faster than any foot units and is not slowed down by rough terrain. For a low price you can teleport down one today and quintuple your operation speed!

Contains 62 pieces.

For a little extra ore, you can upgrade your vehicle.

  • Armor: gives it a roll cage to protect it from landslides.
  • Engine: increases the engine speed so that you can't catch one when you need to.
  • Cargo: Doubles the cargo (NOTE: THIS LOOKS AWKWARD AND NULLS A FUTURE VEHICLE I MAY MAKE SO IT MAY BE REMOVED)

Contains 80 pieces.

Kinda cute! I like this design, moreso than the official STT design. It's probably because I like these kinds of little dump trucks in real life.

Excellent -- but wouldn't the second one tip over if carrying a lot of heavy ore? I think making it wider would look a bit better? Just a thought.

That would pretty much change the entire vehicle, and would be extremely awkward to animate in-game anyway. Hence why I said I may get rid of the cargo upgrade.

If the ore is equally filled and the rear wheels are used for the steering while making the front fixed (Like a forklift), unbalance should not be much of an issue.  I would not expect this vehicle to drive fast anyway.

Good work Lair, I like how the cargo trays can be tilted to unload.

About how fast would you expect it to be, in comparison with existing RR vehicles?
