lu9
I already know there's an IRC chat room, but since actually nobody goes there, I made this one: http://chat.ircno.de/?channels=rockraidersunited (Or you can connect your IRC application to "ircno.de" network and join #rockraidersunited) I created it mostly on purpose to conversation, since the shoutbox has the "Shoutbox Flood" thing on, if Cyrem wants it, I pass the moderation & founder settings to him. RocketTheRacer and Pranciblad already "approved"...

McJobless
Nobody goes to the IRC chat room because everybody has been using the very active Skype group for years.This. And then the RRU Chat works perfectly too when I need to talk to people outside of the Skype Chat, and I don't have any problems with "Flood" because I don't spam messages. lol username
Could be, there's nothing stopping you. Just don't expect the entire community to flock to it, Skype is working fine, pretty much everybody is already using it, and it and has capabilities beyond that of standard IRC, so there's really no reason to switch to something less powerful and less popular. Fluffy Cupcake
Nobody goes to the IRC chat room because everybody has been using the very active Skype group for years. ...Except me. I was in it once. But I left because I never read the messages and it was all just message sound spamming to me. (I like to keep the sound on for when others contact me, so no I won't turn it off.) Though still, the shoutbox we have here is fine.

(I like to keep the sound on for when others contact me, so no I won't turn it off.)You know you can just type /alertsoff in a group or private chat, and all alerts will be disabled specifically for that chat, right? I have alerts off for all group chats I'm in.

lol username
The word is not in my physical dictionary. So inofficial is unofficial? Seriously though, "unofficial" is the preferred word, "inofficial" is an awkward variant that's only used very rarely for no real reason (I've never even seen it before), a quick Google search confirms it's pretty much depreciated - heck, even spell check doesn't recognize it here. le717, McJobless, Fush and 1 other

I think 'inofficial' sounds rather nice, whereas 'unofficial' sound a little bit flat in comparison. So here is a chance to use a good sounding and even legit word that ins't widely used! And spell check isn't always reliable.
Fifi La Fume
I wouldn't call it legit. It can't even be used in Scrabble...
