LimeKiller
I just thought of this while browsing the forum today, but has anybody else played these? I don't actually own either of the games, but my cousin has both The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as well as Prince Caspian. As I recall, Prince Caspian was EXACTLY the same as all the LEGO games they've been churning out for the past whatever amount of years. I specifically remember grabbing a torch from a cave wall and using it to light a pathway through a sea of spiders, a la Indiana Jones. I didn't play the first one as much, but I think it was a little different. I remember a big battle scene where you could use collected powerups to call in things like a centaur charge and demolish your opponent. These and the LEGO games are the only ones by them that I have played, but it made me wonder - are all their games the same exact thing, not just the LEGO ones? McJobless
For a second I thought you were talking about "Telltale", legendary makers of Sam & Max and the Walking Dead games. Nope, and frankly, I would never chance it. It's a movie game which is being built by, well... O.T. Sorry to knick Lair's video
Wognif
Nope, and I'd rather not play any Travellers Tales games. LimeKiller
Brickulator
The only non-lego games I've played from Traveller's Tales are Crash Wrath of Cortex and Crash Twinsanity. Although Twinsanity was done by TT Oxford. Either way, neither of those games are anywhere remotely similar to their LEGO games.
Olivus Prime
Nope, and I'd rather not play any Travellers Tales games. I wouldn't bash TT overall for their attitude towards the LEGO games, their team hasn't always been identical and they've made some great games. Twinsanity is one of my favourite games of all time - a lot of love went into that game, even if they did run out of development time. Their Toy Story games are also very good. There are a heck of a lot of TT games that aren't anything like the LEGO games. I've played their Crash games, Sonic games, Toy Story games, Finding Nemo and Transformers: The Game, and none of them resemble the LEGO games. Perhaps they just used the LEGO engine on Narnia because it brought them a huge amount of success.
