Wognif
Here are some buildings I'm making for my LEGO Island fan game project I mentioned a few days ago. Right now there are only 12 concept models made, but I'll soon have 21. This is the gas station. This is one of several houses. Yet another house. The Pizzeria, inside. The outside The post office. This one was supposed to be a pagoda....but whatever. It will have a portal to a pocket dimension, where a massive library will be. The library. I'm also working on the island's model right now. Here's a pic of what I got done of it so far: STUDZ and Car CrazeXVI
Ben24x7
*Clicks the first spoiler* Gas station *Reads further on downwards. Clicks on another spoiler* A house *Moves the screen down* 'One of the several houses'?!? I know this is concept art but I really think people will not like to try and swap an old model for a new one.

I'm thinking of 7 houses for the residential area.
Ben24x7
That'll be hard. People know how to mix and muddle up models that are already in the game but I don't think anyone has found out how to add new stuff in yet.

The only mixing and "muddling up" models I know of is the hats of a character. 2. Why do I have to bring up a snippet of the past? If I have to make a fan game, I will. As I said, I have very little understanding of code, so right now, its only an idea.

And not to argue but the textures can be changed as well.
Wognif
And not to argue but the textures can be changed as well. I know that....Otherwise I wouldn't have created Captain Papa. Which in turn gives me an idea.
Car CrazeXVI
The first two models are the best. That'll be hard. People know how to mix and muddle up models that are already in the game but I don't think anyone has found out how to add new stuff in yet. Why can I not read any of your posts with out face palming...? These are concept models for a fan game. Wognif and Drill Master
lol username
Concept models are nice to look at and all, but I'd recommend actually focusing on making a game first. I've seen countless LEGO fan game projects go entirely down the tube because all of the people behind them focused on ideas and models without any solid work put into making something playable. Now, the models themselves... Eh, decent, but a bit plain looking, especially the second house which is incredibly boxy, even for LEGO. Toss in more details. The gas station design looks a little odd, I honestly haven't seen many gas stations like that (I actually can't remember seeing any, but I've seen so many of 'em while traveling that I'm sure I've seen something somewhat like it sometime ). lol username
Oh, yes indeed - though I'd recommend extruding the roof edges out to extend beyond the outer walls, like this:

Lair
I've seen countless LEGO fan game Rock Raiders overhaul projects go entirely down the tube because all of the people behind them focused on ideas and models without any solid work put into making something playable. Fixed As for the models, shouldn't they have floors?

Fixed As for the models, shouldn't they have floors? Oops. I added floors to the models now. The third house (the one that looks like a trailer) already has a floor, so no changes made to that one. Wognif
I added some of my progress on the model of the island itself in the OP.
Ben24x7
I have Blender so I could help you with minifigures/characters (I will try NOT to use HJMmediaStudios' model).
Wognif
I have Blender so I could help you with minifigures/characters (I will try NOT to use HJMmediaStudios' model). If it turns out good enough, I'll accept it. You'll have to upload a sample minifigure for me to see if I can accept your help with it. If you rig the model, make sure that it's similar to a normal minifigure (in other words, no "knees"). On second thought, I reject your help.
