Palpatine Texture For Minifigures

including different snapshot faces for the license

Here's my Palpatine Texture for Lego Racers! The head will replace Commander Cold's face (of course you can choose another, but I thought that CC's voice would suit best) and the torso the blue body with a grey bag at the side. The leg color replaces the light grey legs.

I made the different faces myself with Paint.NET. I also know that some of these faces are more like 'fun' faces and not very real.

Here are some pictures for those who want to see it before he downloads stuff:

Installation instructions:

After you decompiled the JAM you put the following files into LEGOMENUDATAPARTDB :

CC_ANGRY; CC_BLINK; CC_DFLT; CC_HAPPY; CC_SAD; CC_SUPRZ; LEG_LTGR; MJ_CHST

You will also have to copy CC_DFLT; LEG_LTGR and MJ_CHST into LEGOGAMEDATACOMMON , so that the driver also looks like a palpatine during the races.

Is it impossible to arrange the images in their respective folders so we can just take the contents of the extracted ZIP and paste it directly into my game, and avoid all this "one file here, another file there" stuff, which also makes it hard for beginning modders to install the new content?

Well, it shouldn't be that hard to find these folders, there are only 2 of them to find. Additionally the 'merging' function doesn't work on older computers (Windows XP), only on Vista/7/8 and that's why I don't use this method. It is clearly said which file to put where and everyone who uses a computer should be able to move and copy files...  -.-

It's not that hard.

The merge works on XP if i remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure it does IIRC.

No seriously, why is his face upside down?

He got a face lift with a bonus.

Strange, when I try it on an XP computer it only replaces the folders, not merging them...

There is actually none but the facelift. :P
