I'll make this one short. First, it's probably worth mentioning that another one of The LEGO Movie sets was revealed, 70803 Cloud Cuckoo Palace:

The minifigures included are Uni-Kitty, Emmet, Wyldstyle, and Executron.

Also, we've got a picture of series 12 of the LEGO Minifigures theme, which ties in with The LEGO Movie, thanks to Brick Fanatics. The lineup is:

  • William Shakespeare
  • Gail the Construction Worker
  • Panda Guy
  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Taco Tuesday Guy
  • Larry the Barista
  • President Business
  • Calamity Drone
  • Marsha Queen of the Mermaids
  • Wild West Wyldstyle
  • Scribbe-Face Bad Cop
  • Velma Staplebot
  • Hard Hat Emmet
  • “Where are my Pants?†Guy
  • Mrs. Scratchen-Post
  • Wiley Fusebot
Apparently, when it was announced that series 12 would contain minifigures "new and new again", they actually meant they'd have several re-treads of minifigures already released in other series and variations of minifigures already in The LEGO Movie's sets. Sigh.

The Ace Railgun

pastel palace

Looks almost neon...also I think that's the strangest looking set i've seen in a while...it looks like the set looks like it come from a brony's dream, and some of the minifigures look gothic...so contrasting...

What bothers me is that despite his set having the set of "where's my pants?" The corresponding figure (the so-called "where's my pants guy" is sold separately as a blind bag. I guess that since this set contained so many figs, that they would just drop the most boring one and shove him off to the blind bags. In fact, saving interesting minis for the actual sets probably explains why most of series 12's offerings are so lackluster.
