The goggle pieces look wonderful :) They look like the Brickforge Spectro-goggles(http://www.brickforge.com/store/product.php?productid=16637&cat=0&page=1) but clipable.

Also, you've got a pirate mech. What's not to like about a pirate mech?  I'm glad to see that they are doing something interesting instead of stereotypical vehicles that made up a good deal of the themes for the last three years.

Also, midway up, to the right: '>

Ah, so Johnny Thunder is a Libertarian?  Well, this makes him even more interesting.

Johnny Thunder quoting Patrick Henry or Henry David Thoreau, there's a thought.

No. Look at the evil black box thing above the Classic Space Guy. Then look to the right. who is that standing on that skyscraper?

Why,

THUNDAH OF COURSE!

no, i'd rather just see the first wave of sets, any new major updates, and let the rest of the movie come to me by surprise.

Is it just me, or are Thunder's eyes different from the original sets?

Yep, they cleaned up the minifigure - torso is a bit different too.

That. Efking. Classic. Spaceship.

If that isn't an official set, I will be EXTREMELY mad. I'm not even getting my hopes up for it, just in case. But it is bloody beautiful. I don't care how much the set is, I will do everything in my power to get it.

And yes, I do care that Thunder's making a comeback. I'm just completely engrossed in the Space.

Here's a great 'Behind the Bricks' video, Lyichir found it and shared on BZPower and Eurobricks.

Dear Batman,

Please stop being a character that could have been perfectly substituted with Johnny Thunder. It makes your otherwise amusing lines painful to watch.

Your sentiments are shared.  Man, if only Scene 24 wasn't left on the cutting room floor...

Well, there's a few interesting things to note from the trailer.  A few more Minifigures cameos among MetalBeard's crew, as seen at 1:07.  Dumbledore apparently will also be making a cameo appearance in Cloud Cuckoo Land, as seen at 1:09.  Uni-Kitty's voice is less obnoxious in this trailer, as opposed to that other TV spot.  MORGAN FREEMAN READS THE PHONEBOOK AND IMITATES BATMAN.  Also, apparently, Octan Tower is microscale.  If you freeze-frame at the end when Virtuvius is imitating Batman, Batman's mask pops off and you see Bruce Wayne's face underneath.  Also, there's a ton of funny background events in this trailer.  There's one clip where Batman is interrogating some guy, and another where some girl dumps a cup of water on a guy and messes up his hair.  And, let's see, what else...

Oh, yeah.  0:57.  I'll just leave it at that, because I can't put my reaction to 0:57 into words.  You need to see it to believe it.  And I'm not talking about Bad Cop/Good Cop.

Obviously something fowl is going on behind the scenes of TLM.

(Sorry, I'll stop before this turns into topic like the cow car one.)

(Also, at 1:30 there are yellow pants in the background.)

Oh wow that was funny. :D

I managed to get direct links to the 720p and 1080p versions of the video. However, Apple has their site written in such a way I can't download them. Perhaps someone can?

Oh well. :P If you still want to try, I like near-original (if not original) source videos. :P

There's a lot of non-LEGO objects in the movie - laser pointers, a bandaid, floppy disk, and a ton of other stuff. Even the main plot revolves around Lord Business using the "Kragle" (a tube of Krazy Glue) to glue the world together, with Emmet having the tube's cap (the Piece of Resistance) glued to his back.
