Graphical Issues

I was finally able to get RR

running by switching to my integrated graphics, but now I've run into some odd graphical glitches while playing.

First, rock raiders have parts of their bodies transparent, like near the bases of their legs and arms, and there appear to be.. invisible polygonal planes sticking out from them, that turn certain objects and textures (such as buildings) transparent underneath them. It might make more sense to just look at it:

The lighting on vehicles and buildings seems to be off as well, though I haven't noticed it so much in other missions, I don't think. Nvm, that's just me forgetting how wonky the lighting in this game is and how the mouse is the only light source.

Construction barriers also have the partial invisibility issue, there's a diagonal stripe across the middle that appears transparent.

Second, textures on the ground and sometimes walls have a tendency to become speckled with black circles/holes. They'll kinda pop in and out, like the textures take a moment to load in, then become normal, then once some kind of significant change occurs the holes reappear, I'm not sure exactly what triggers it.

I've only seen this occur on the training levels that use the lava tileset, I haven't seen it while doing Driller Night on the water/rock tileset and have yet to test it on an ice level. There was an instance where a REALLY bad version of the glitch appeared on powered power path textures in one level, but raising TextureUsage fixed the issue there.

However, TextureUsage hasn't fixed any of the other bugs. I kept gradually bumping it up, eventually reaching 512 times the original value, i believe, but the rest of the glitches remained just as bad. (And yes, the glitches occur on an unmodded installation with the original WADs intact as well)

I'm running as administrator, both glitches happen both in windowed and fullscreen, regardless of what compatibility settings are set to, and the specs I'm using for the game now are as follows:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Intel Core i3-3240

Intel HD Graphics 2500 (Integrated GPU)

8GB RAM

The available options in the Intel graphics control panel are very limited to begin with, but I've got everything set to off/use application settings/etc where possible.

EDIT: Interestingly, Cyrem's enhanced biomes mod seems to have fixed the speckled textures issue, and the high-poly rock raiders mod has fixed the transparency issues.

OKAY, this is getting to be a pretty big post but making a whole separate thread for this seems silly. Now with custom textures for biomes and custom models+textures for minifigures, the original problems are 99% fixed (i glimpsed the texture speckling again on a wall exactly once but that's not nearly as bad as having it everywhere) but now I don't get shading on many of the textures, specifically minifigs and floors:

That's with brightness at minimum, as you can see the walls/ceilings and the hands/tops of heads of the raiders still follow the normal lighting rules, but floors and most of the raiders' bodies lack any shading whatsoever and appear at full brightness. Kinda ruins the atmosphere, not to mention being rather ugly.

Any clue what's going on? The files i put in are directly copied from http://www.rockraidersunited.org/topic/2762-enhanced-biomes/ , http://www.rockraidersunited.org/topic/705-high-poly-rock-raiders/ , and http://www.rockraidersunited.org/topic/2776-enhanced-rock-raider-skins/ (enhanced skins were applied after the highpoly models, shading was busted either way)

WELP, multiplying TextureUsage by 4 again (up to 1024 times the default) fixed the shading issues, sooo I guess that makes all my problems solved for now  :x IGNORE THREAD PLS
