These are my sets as I currently have them and I have a whole tub of RR specific misc parts that could build tens more vehicles. Post your sets here and even your backdrops, as I love new ideas and projects to take on. The post before mine with the cliff was great and I saw an awesome chrome crusher diorama on flikr that has the gears turning. I can't believe people have huge collections like this, and here I am with just a keychain and unable to afford anything else because they are so rare on eBay and Amazon that prices are through the roof. Bricklink has been wonderful for these old sets (at good prices I must add) and a good bit of them have been built on parts alone and were not bought as sets. Something about buying the pieces separately that makes it like a scavenger hunt. I want to build the bridge IRL but there was never a turquoise seat or a Dk Grey ocatagonal 4x4 sloped piece actually ever made. It just seems a shame for the rock raiders to live on a wooden table. One idea I had was to build a coffee table with a glass top and line the whole inside with dk grey pieces and then it would be like their own cave. That was the Mrs. will be content with them being out of the way (instead of in a bucket under the bed), and I can still show off the collection I have amassed. I guess in reality, most of this stuff was bought when I was 13 too. I guess it was worth it to keep all my toys from 1999. A wild double post appeared! jamesster used merge! It's super effective!
