le.mouh
Hi there, been lurking around the forums all day long to fix that issue, aswell testing out the "usual" stuff like the missing .dlls and different compatibility mode options in all possible variations. Aswell, nothing stated in the f.a.q thread helped. Installing all goes fine, but when i click on the lrr related .exe file the flashscreen appears, the screen goes wild for a few seconds, adjusting things and then returns to desktop. Thats pretty much it, with any of the options of the lrr-configuration program. Im running in bootcamp, specs are i7 2,23ghz 8gb ram Radeon m6750 graphics I really loved this game back when i was a child and i would really really give it another go, so if anyone has still some ideas at hand please let me know! Regards

le.mouh
Come on guys, no solutions?? That rly sucks, i loved that game and now there is srsly no chance to play it? Any help appreciated!!
McJobless
Bootcamp could potentially be the problem. To me, it definitely sounds like a video-related error, so either DirectX 5/6 didn't install properly, or the card/OS doesn't like it. Have you tried to manually extract the DX .dlls from the disc installer and stick them in the same place as the .exe?
le.mouh
Gonna try that out, is there a description how to do that? In case you mean d3drm.dll, i did that edit ok i copypasted the dlls from the directx folder to the game.exes folder and it seemed to work at first, then the screen went black and i heard the lego intro in the background, apart from that nothing happened and i had to restart. But still already a step Forgot to add: It only "works" when i choose RGB emulation. It'll crash when choosing hardware support
McJobless
Hmmmmmmmm. Can you go into your Rock Raiders Data folder and then AVI, and just move or rename the .avi files? Maybe it's having problems with just playing the videos because of its old and weird codec.
le.mouh
Hey, ye i can rename and remove them! HAI There!! I pretty much made it! ) Thanks for help Mc Jobless though! Haz
What was the exact issue/solution? I'm having a similar problem, removing the AVIs brought me to the "data designs" screen but would crash after that, saying there was an issue with "LegoRR.icd". Thoughts? le.mouh
Hi, Well i would not remove them, install the codec i mentioned in the post before, and choose RGB simulation. Aswell i found out its kinda important which windows mode you choose, i get along very well with the 98 one. As said before, its most important to install les codecs imo
Haz
Did you have the error message that said LegoRR.icd stopped working?
le.mouh
Once or twice but while being in a level playing. You already tried to reinstall? Could be that its colliding with your 64bit system since its actually for 16bit, but im far from being an expert.
